Voltaire, when I right click on the thread title (on the main page), I just open the thread. No "copy link location" option. What am I missing? Thanks for trying to help.

That's weird...are you sure you're not left-clicking instead of right-clicking? Right-click should bring up a little context-menu with some options, one of which will be "Copy Link Location" or something to that effect.

@Alex: LOL, yeah :firefox: (you didn't have anything to do with that smiley, did you?)

I'd change it to Webkit and claim it as my own! (and no)

Right click opens the thread and/or highlights the location or the link. Then left click opens the window with "copy" as one of the options. I right click copy and when I paste, no link appears, just the title in black print.

Burning Cartomisers? Dangerous?-E9/VK/bloog/totem/808/DPV9/Smoke51...etc

This is crazy.

Weird, sounds like your mouse buttons are setup backwards (or you don't know your left and right, lol) Anyway, in that menu that appears, you don't want to select just "copy" you want "copy link" or something to that effect. BTW, you don't need to highlight the link first, just click on it with whatever button opens the little window.

IT WORKS!!!!

Voltaire (and Alex), thank you so much. "Copy shortcut" does work, except it doesn't show the link in purple, like it used to when I was just copying and pasting. It's all good.

I appreciate the time you took to help me. I really do.

Of course, had you been a bit more clear about the right click from the very beginning...:lol::lol::lol::party::headbang:

Heh, no problem at all. If it's any consolation, I've at times also mixed up left and right click when it's verbalized. I know how to *do* it instinctively, but when it's spoken, I sometimes briefly forget that the left button is the "primary" mouse button, which at first seems counter-intuitive in this right-handed world. So if someone says "right-click" instead of just "click" I think "secondary click", which when I think about it instead of just going on instinct, sometimes comes out of my brain as "left click"... If that makes any sense at all to anyone, lol

I would, however, like to reiterate the need for an eGo specific forum. The eGos now have alot more to them that are not 510 compatable, it leads to alot of confusion for new members especially.

I'll take a look at this after the forum upgrade is complete. Remind me then in case I forget.

Please please keep giving us feedback, I can't track down every issue unless I know there is one...

I *believe* I was able to fix the New Posts / Latests Posts / Jump to My Last Post links....

I'll start pruning through this thread and add an ongoing issues things to the first post when I have some time... Right now, sleep calls :D

When I popped into this thread (and a few others this morning), "Go to New post" worked! Kudos!:toast:

I've been reading MOST of this thread. Is the "my posts" supposed to be fixed? I show 50 posts and I have nearly 140. If the "fix" is coming, I'll just be patient...just making sure it hasn't been repaired yet? Cuz mine isn't. Thanks for ALL of the work that must be required to do the upgrade!

"My Posts" is listed by threads, not posts. (yeah I know, the name is a bit misleading) So, if you have multiple posts in a thread, you'd still only see one entry for that thread under "My Posts." IOW, the 50 results you see means that you have posted a total of 140 posts in 50 different threads.

Hmm...I don't think that's how it was before :)

Wait it's supposed to show posts? Like the actual content of them?

It isn't even showing "what" I posted...just the names of the threads. Maybe that's how it's supposed to be? Halp!

It IS for sure how it was before, which IS how it's supposed to be, because that's the way that's the most useful for keeping track of threads you are active in.

The only issues with it still left is the fact that it's slightly out of chronological order and that sometimes it takes a while to show a new thread that you've posted in.

ETA: Where some confusion might be coming from as for showing content of posts, is that there used to be a link under Quick Links called "YOUR Posts" and THAT showed *posts* (not threads) with an excerpt.
