Yeah, "My Threads" might clear up some of this confusion, but cause new confusion, lol. "My Threads" sounds like threads that you yourself started. But I really don't care what it's called as long as it exists, lol.

Note: see the "ETA" in my previous post. It might be good to give the people who used to use it, their "YOUR Posts" back - although for the life of me, I can't see the utility of a chronological list of your own posts...

I had to go back in time and find these posts in the thread that led to the addition of the "My Posts" button. :p

I was trying to think of what you would best call such a button/link, with marginal results...

"Your Threads" - (short, but that wrongly sounds like threads you started)
"Threads You've Posted In" - (Most descriptive, but kinda long, eh?) so...
"Threads Posted In" - (Slightly shorter version of above)
"Your Active Threads" - (slightly ambiguous and a bit long)
"Responses" - (shortest, but most ambiguous)

That's all I got for now. Anybody got anything better?

Maybe that's why such a thing was never put in place - nobody could figure out what to call it!

The one in the Quick Links is called "Your Posts" and is totally different and much less useful than the new "My Posts" button. Perhaps "My Threads" would be more accurate and less confusing. Whatever it's called, I'm sure a lot of people will find it to be very convenient once they realize what it does and how it works.

I'm late to the party (in this thread). I'd started one titled "My Posts" a while back (months ago, actually before the upgrade) ... thanks for the responses Alex. I guess this thread is the correct place though, sorry.

My Posts used to list threads you'd posted to. The list was in the order of the thread most recently posted in as #1, regardless of who did that last posting. It was a good way to check for followups to your posts.

I recognize that it's on your to-do list, I see the conversation above. Just trying to be helpful.

You fixed it before, and I'm sure you'll do it again. :)

The "My Posts" link currently functions exactly the same way as it did in the previous version with the exception of chronological order, which Alex already addressed. If you want to see your posts you can go through your profile. Although as a previous poster mentioned I can imagine why you would need to see your own post except for finding a link posted or some other reference point, on rare occasion. Certainly not worth a button on the top row.

Let's face it, the majority like to see their post hit the lineup. I think it's due to the fact that sometimes things just don't work the way they should. It also makes it easier to keep track of the thread which is why I liked the old My Post option. I'll also love it when the newest posts are at the top---the scattered about thing is a royal pain.
And yes, we can check through the statistic tab, but most people aren't in the habit of doing that. Besides it's just one more thing members have to go back and constantly check on.
Basically, and I do realize the difficult job of the administration, it should be what is the most convenient for the membership---at least that is my opinion.

The button I'm really missing is the "Unanswered Posts" that would show all threads that had zero responses - it was always a quick way to see if there were any threads that might otherwise slip through the cracks and go unanswered.

I miss this one, too, :( but the rest of the forum is looking great! :headbang:

Still need a way to get back to the list of threads, use to be able to click a button that took you back to first page and refresh the list of threads. Now I have to use the back button on my browser and then the browser refresh button. Need a "Go" button next to the site navigation drop down or be able to click there with out the dropdown happening.

If you go to settings then general settings then towards the bottom of the page switch from new posts to todays posts and it comes up the way it used to be.
