Late to the party again *sigh*

I have 4 "regular" grands and 1 SL. It IS lighter but that's not what I notice. I like the texture, not that my other grands are "slippery", but you definitely have a more solid grip with the SL. The other difference I notice is that it's easier to tell when my juice is getting low. Other than that, with my eyes closed, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart (not touching them, of course).

Also, I've noticed no difference in cleaning, the SL needs a good wash about as often as the non-SL's. I *do* find when I clean it, I like to use a q-tip to get the flotsam and jetsom out of the "holes", they don't seem to rinse off as easily as the flat parts, but it's a small thing.

I recently obtained the red metallic SL and the pics online don't do it justice. Really beautiful deep red and the metallic flakes look gold. Very nice with a brass button and brass rm2. Love how lightweight it is. And a fun source of entertainment, you can watch your juice head up to the 510 connector, lol.

Being a father of three "Maybe" is definitely closer to yes than "we'll see" lol.

Yeah, in my house, "we'll see" used to mean "I'm putting you off because public melt-downs are embarrassing." My kids are 14 now. They're on to me - they make me say no if I mean no, which is as it should be. I'm totally OK with public sulking.

Rattler I'm interested to see all the different Atty's on your SL's! Do you have a favourite?

I am using a RM2, Cyclone, Cyclone AFC, Chalice II, Divo, IGO-BF, Origen V2, and a Totally Wicked version of the Squid on all my REO's. I like a tighter draw and a small chamber but I am able to get excellent flavor out of each one I have. It took me multiple builds to get a dual coil on the Origen performing to my liking and it still has a draw back because it take longer to heat the coil. Everything else gives me exactly what I want when I want it. I would not hesitate to recommend any of them. Even the squid that is a $5 atty that took me 5 minutes to pop out the center pin, and get back in.

Each atty has it's pro's and con's. RM2 easy to build on, cyclone AFC adjustable airflow, Chalice has amazing flavor but a bit more difficult to build, hard to find and expensive, astetices goes to the cyclone AFC on LP REOs.

Thanks Rattler!I do love the RM2's and Cyclones... I rather like the look of the Chalice but they seem impossible to find in stock anywhere on the planet! I should have plenty of Cyclone AFC's later this month and have a group buy going on for us local boys in South Africa. But if you do spot an online shop with a Chalice in stock please shout! ;-)

Thanks for the info!

I thought i'd let you know that I contacted Mark Bugs and they said that either a new version or more will be hitting the market in August-September. You might periodically just check their site. I couldn't tell from their response whether they meant a new version or the same one just more inventory but either way they have something that will be released soon.
