SLB eGo-V battery charge issues...

Hi guys,

I received my new battery on Saturday, and I absolutely LOVE it. When I took it out of the box it had 2 bars of battery left, and I got about 100 puffs out of it before it died. The past few days I've gotten about 220-230 puffs before it dies. The item listing says I should be getting about 500 puffs before it dies. I charge it on my desk top each night and take it off the charges once its fully charged. I wouldn't be concerned if I was getting like 350 to 400 puffs but 230 seems low to me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I personally think there are too many variables to put much stock in how many puffs one is getting. Different resistance ohms in your carto/clearo............what voltage you're setting it at to vape.........how long you're holding the button down when you take a puff......all of those things will affect how much of the charge is being used.

That's what I was thinking too, I'm using a vivi nova tank with a 1.8 ohm head at 3.3v. I don't know, I guess I was just thinking that it would last me longer than my 400 mah ego battery and it seems to last me less time. I love being able to set the voltage, just not as reliable as I thought it would be.

Have you tried letting it charge for a few hours after it says fully charged? I've had a few batteries that I had to do that on.

The lower the ohm the more the juice unit it sucking off the batt... Shorting it's between charge life. (Same can be said for the volts used) it's a balancing act.
Most likely the manufacture tested it's "puff count" with 2.4-8 @ 3.3.

Iv had mine for about a week now, I get about 300 puffs (less when drinking that day, due to much longer puffs)
My main delivery device is GotVapes PHOENiX™ REBORN Bottom Coil XL 1.5ml Carto 2.4-2.6ohms also depending on what I'm vaping I normally use a low votlage setting (once again higher while drinking)

I let it charge over night, when I go to bed, so does it (I use an ego mini for over night) and comes off the charger when I make my way into the kitchen in the morning... So far so good, it is my fav battery so far.

i have one, but i go up to 4.2-4.7v on mine with higer res cartos and clearos.

when i had my lr clearo i got about 300 or more from a charge on 3.8

with the higher i'm getting closer to you do.

i only use it as a backup at my office computer in case my vamo goes TU now, though
