I don't think it's a problem with ECF's hardware necessarily, but more a problem with the company that hosts it. It's 4am here, and really slow to respond... I ran a MTR and noticed that liquidweb is having spikes that drive my consistent 25ms ping up to over 500ms at times. My guess is some other server on their network is bringing other things to a crawl.

things could have changed but there has been one server in the line-up that never played nice 
that's why logging off sometimes brings relief when your next login gets you on a different server ..........
and if you can't get off that server it can be very frustrating because loads of people have no idea what you're complaining about
