yes I got those specifically for the semo
this is one of the things they wanted to take a look at when they stopped production earlier this year. you may have one of the latest ones. while it was a problem with some units, it was a very very small percentage
Ah, that makes more sense. I think mine was purchased around June/July (purchased by me from classifieds so I am not 100%)

yea I forget i use the spring reversed, with the bottom cap flipped over both the button top and flattop version will let the bottom cap screw all the way in

The FT clone is the 3.1 not the light. Did you get the hybrid ring with your Semo?
Definitely post your feedback on the whole thing, as I'm punching myself for ordering a swig varivolt, vamo v3 and a ProVari Mini in the last 2 weeks, and I should've never ordered the Chinese mods. I got the ProVari 2 days ago with a protank 2, and I love it. I also read too much of ECF after I ordered the ProVari, and got the KFL, but I still did not get my kanthal and wick, so, can't build a coil.... While the Vamo V3 may be an ok backup (I still don't have it 2 weeks later- shipping from China isn't exactly fast), I just don't know if I can use anything that's of lesser quality than a ProVari (call me a snob). The Vamo V3 and the Swig will have to go up for sale unused... and I need to decide if I should get a regular ProVari or a semovar for use at home/backup. Your reviews may alter the course of my life (how soon the wifey will be calling me an idiot for ordering more vaping "crap")
I have two Provari's myself and there is just no going back to a Vamo or SVD.. etc.... just vapes too smoothly and flavor is just better on the ProVari
I PM'd two people that have the Semovar that I really trust on the forums...... ( Thrasher and Bill's Majic Vapor)... I was sold after that.
Bill is a cancer research scientist and very meticulous and fair minded....really seems to run the full gambit tesing things. He told me (hope you dont mind me saying this Bill) " the Semovar is to the Provari what the Provari is to the Evic". So, thats what made me take the plunge for the full kit.
I'll be sure to let you know what I think. If I can close my eyes and cant tell the difference, or if my Carto's dont TASTE any better than when on the Provari, It will be on the Classifieds at the end of my first week. Simple as that.

Is the clone the one with the air flow adjustment ?
No one knows yet as no one is sure who makes it and no one has received one yet. The Russian has the air flow adjustment but that is not much cheaper than the Kayfun and also branded differently. The FT clone is more of a counterfeit as it has the SV logo on it. Reports are good on the Rocket though (the Chrome Kayfun clone)
Dam u all! I just bought the one on ebay we were talking about! The VTR just isnt cutting it for my primary home vape.
