If they made a mini version with an option to expand to a larger battery, like the ProVari Mini, I might be on board. I just prefer the smaller size and flexibility of the Mini.

it is modular you by whatever sized tubes you want for it.

You can get the mod only with 18650 and buy the 18350 tube at SvoeMesto Semovar SM V3 (Mod) - Cloud 9 Vaping or Accessories - SvoëMesto - Variable Voltage - Devices. No body sells just the mod and 18350 size that I know of.

The Semy really sucks the battery juice I wish they made a 26650 tube!

Do you use yours mostly in VW mode?

It may be all in in my mind, but I feel the VV mode gives you a longer life for some reason.

But even with that said, the Panny 2900PD from Orbotronics which are "Bad Boys"...only last me a few hours. I replace them twice and even three times a day. ........I do run a 1.1 Ohm coil and vape alot.....

Seems no diff with a Provari though....... to me.

VV does give longer battery life, when in VW these mods must do calculations that they don't do in VV.

Yes! No question about it. When you press the fire button, the Semo is firing the coil, checking the resistance, adjusting the voltage (the calculation you mentioned), THEN firing the coil versus just firing the coil when in VV mode. I don't know how much energy this uses, but it is definitely going to reduce battery life, just like when the battery goes out on your DMM, only much quicker because it's doing far more. Totally agree with you and Thunderball on this.

I leave it in VV mode.

Well my Sticker arrived nice and fast, well done SvoeMesto.de, 2 days to ship from Germany to the UK.

It is a nicely made device and makes the 18650semo much more convenient to pocket.

Semo with Sticker and 3.1 with hybrid cap.

Semo with Sticker and Protank2 with 18mm cap.

One thing to note is that the sticker seems to need button top batteries.

I'm trying to pull the trigger on either a DNA20 tube mod or a SM V3 and can't decide. Any input would be helpful. Thanx!

The DNA30 is going to be released any day now, so I'd hold up on the DNA20 at the moment. I'm holding for this very reason. The Semovar is in the high-end class and very flexible. The Nivel chip is considered superior to all other chips used in vaping at the moment. I have the Semo full kit and love it. Got mine from Cloud 9 and very pleased. How durable it will be over time is the only issue as it's not that old of an APV, say, compared with the Provari, my daily work horses. One year warranty on the Semo too, is amongst the best warranty in the business. I'd recommend the Semo for now, and wait until the DNA30 comes out, first the chip, then whatever APV's will adopt it. Several good DNA20 APV's on the market now. But to drop a couple hundred bucks and see it replaced with a better chip would be heart breaking. My two cents. Good luck!
