LOL!! It was an accident...but I left it anyway...I figure with all the anti-ProVari posts lately, I want to be as hard to track as possible! I was called The Devil by a dude with a Tesla earlier! I'm thinking about sending him a few bucks.

I haven't yet, but many others have. Many people say that the taste is cleaner than silica. I'll be trying it soon.
Interesting. My KFL does not screw in completely into my ProVari mini, the beauty ring has a bit of play in it. So, what do I do, I try to screw in the center pin a bit into the KFL to make it screw in better into the ProVari mini.... After I did that, I now get the E1 error on the ProVari and the center pin/screw turns easily. I could fix it by turning the center pin out by 3/4 of a turn. I just hope that it does not start leaking out of the center pin/510 connector.... The moral of the story is: if it ain't broke, don't fix it... Crap....
Well a replacement part is on the way for my Semovar, but regardless.

Uhhh, careful there - the KFL center pin is not (NOT) adjustable. If you loosen it, the positive post block will swivel into hard-short position against your chimney.
On my provari with the SV beauty ring my KFL is almost flush but not tight. The ring will turn, but there's not enough play to wiggle it up or down.
Yes, I have and it like it better than silica. Here's what I did...
I have always done the little bow tie with the silica, which is what I did with my cotton yarn. But I decided
that I wanted to try to do a micro coil, so I could at least save the coil by dry burning, and just do a new wick.
Micro coil didn't work out so good, so I made a new wick and put a single piece of cotton yarn into the coil.
From experience, I knew that a single piece wasn't enough wicking for the channels. So, I tied a little knot with the yarn right above the coil. Then the ends went right into the channels. This has worked like a charm.
So, the answer to you question...yes, cotton works fantastic. Just need to abide by the channel "laws"
Serves me right for not finding and reading the manual for this thing :banghead: ... had to drain it, take it apart and fix it. Works now
