Is this your first time trying to use it, or it just happened? If you have another battery you could try replacing it to see if it shows up the same way, and if so, don't try to vape on it, whatever you do.

You could try making sure the battery ports are clean, and if not, clean them out, try again. I wouldn't do much more than that, however, prior to a) taking it back to where you bought it (or a decent vape shop with an electricially minded salesman who enjoys figuring out problems) b) returning it for repair if it's under warranty.

Okay, I am never buying a SMOKanything, ever, the amount of issues that arise out of that product seem to be *insane*. I think I'll pass. But, good luck. It MAY be something super simple that can be repaired right in front of you, or you may need a replacement mod.

Actually, I really like my Smok Baby Alien. It's one of the few Smok products I've tried that didn't completely disappoint me. My only issue is it is a little battery hog.

But yeah, Smok is kinda iffy in the quality control department.

I lucked out on the QC on both the Alien and AL85. Now there is a Pico that will hold a 25 mm tank as well, so a bit more competition on that front.
