Welcome @maddenicks !

Have you been running tanks other then the Big Baby with the M2 coils on the stick? Not sure that would cause your problem, but not sure it is a good idea on the 3.7 volt stick. May want to check the 510 connection on both the stick and tank. If they look normal, you might try a different coil.
yes i put on an aspire evo75 tank but it does the same thing, and the 510 looks normal

A quick google search indicates that many are running other tanks on the stick, so that shouldn't be a concern. Found nothing about auto firing. You might contact the seller if it is fairly new or take it to a vape shop and see what they say. Sounds like something internal. Any chance some juice ran down inside the 510 or fire button?

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
I have no idea why. Could be anything from a stuck button through fried electronics by way of a bad tac switch. One thing I do know is that's dangerous as all getout. Taking it to a vape shop is a good idea. Also, if you have one handy, measuring voltage across the 510 connector. It's going to tell you the machine is constantly on, which you already know, but still. Even so, don't use the mod, if I have to say this, while it is autofiring. That's a good way to get a vented battery.

my smok stick v8 has a problem where whenever i screw in the tank it starts to fire. i am not pressing the fire button and it is not stuck. the only way to stop it from firing is by unscrewing the tank. i have tried a different tank on and it does the same thing.. any info on to why this is happening would be great
Welcome and glad you joined.
B&M Vape shop might be able to fix or suggest a cause. Sounds like it's time to use the backup, and consider a new purchase.

I'm afraid that you have a faulty device.
Something wrong with the mainboard or the fire button get stuck.
If you want to check out, try to reduce the power to the lowest, plug in your atomizer (sub-ohm coil), give it a vape.
If the vapor is thin (or there will be no vapor) then I think the fire button get stuck. If the vapor is thick, the mainbord bypass the fire button.
General speaking, you should return your device for your safety.

Yes, I think batteries out until you take it to where you bought it to see if it's repareable or replacable. You really Don'T want YOUR autifiring button mod anywhere near your face with batteries in it. You don't.

Good luck on the repairs. Anna
Stick V8 has built in batteries, good luck taking them out....
