Welcome to ECF, @Jacob Roux !

I have a Stick V8 and really like it, but I have multiple mods and tanks. I am not sure I would recommend it as an only set-up. It has decent battery life, but it probably will not last the day without a charge. And I am not a fan of pass through vaping. It is a nice vape for shorter trips out and about.

On a quick check on one of my online vape vendors, they have the kit for the same price (for those uncomfortable with vape gear on ebay).

If you are kinda locked into picking something up through ebay, I would think the V8 would be your better option. I would never get batteries and would be hard pressed on juice. Maybe others have some experience getting e-juice there. If I were to try it (which is not about to happen), I would only consider a name brand juice and start with a very small quantity.

Ok, Thanks will keep this in reminder, any chance you know of a different website that takes paypal?

Welcome to the community, @N8erade !

There have been a number of threads on the General Vaping board on stuck tanks....might be worth a search. Just from reading through some of them, there are a number of suggestions.

Try something that will give you better grip. Latex gloves, wrap a rubber band around the base, or a vape band.

Some say to put the tank in the freezer for a while, that it will shrink the O-rings or something like that. You might then also need one of the grip suggestions above.

If you get to the point you want to use a pliers or vise grip, use a cloth between the jaws and tank to (hopefully) eliminate damaging the tank....and do not put them on the glass!

Once you manage to get it open, I will take a dab of juice on my finger and run it around the O-rings to (hopefully once again) make it easier to disassemble in the future. And when you assemble the tank, don't go crazy cranking it hard....let the O-rings do their job. Easier to tighten it a little more should it seep a little juice.

Good luck and hope you can get it disassembled, cleaned, and working well for you! :vapor:

Thanks for trying to help, but I have been at this for 2 weeks. I even made a post here about it earlier today. Everything you listed I have tried to do, as well as nearly everything I found online

Whats everyones personal opinions base on the Smok Stick v8

Found one seller on ebay for $33 and seemed inertested.

Thanks.
My friend at work got one for his first mod and he likes it. I prefer mods with replaceable batteries but for $33 you really can't go wrong. I believe it's a vv mod and you can't adjust the wats.

It's true, you can't adjust anything. It's a simple one-button control. In terms of vape mods, $33 is a great deal, especially for this one.

Welcome and glad you joined.
This is a vape setup for an advanced user.
re Smok warning:
"This product is for advanced user only! Please have a great understanding and technical knowledge on how to use this product in order to properly use it. Use it at your own risk!"
If your new to vaping, this not the equipment you should be learning on. It's kind of like taking a beginner driver, sitting them behind an Indy 500 car and telling them to step on the gas pedal to make it go.
