I have long suspected that Boge and Smoktech cartos are just different brands on the same product. Kinda like Dekang juice and Boge are run by the same company.

I do not believe that this is a correct assumption. ;)

I've used both and found them to be roughly equal with one aggravating build quality difference. I get batches of cartos that have differences in the thread quality. Right now, I have black Boge 3.0 and 2.0 that have perfect threads. I just got in 6 boxes of Boge 3.0 stainless steel that rock slightly when screwed into my Provari or my Ego. It's not bad, but I know it can be better and more precision.

Yes, I'm ticky about precision, but I notice little things like that. I also notice the wicking abilities of various lots of cartos. Some condom fill perfectly and vape well immediately. Others have to sit for hours to completely soak up my 100% PG clear juice. I'd just like to be able to depend on any carto brand to be consistent.

ETA: two rocked out of one box and the third is rock solid and snug threaded. Quality control may be varying.

I've been asking myself the same question: Smoketech or Boges?

What I have is some 3.0 and 2.0 Boges, and some 1.7XL Smoketechs. And I use them on my KGO Batts with Boba's Bounty Juice.

I have seen all the hype for the Smoketech 1.7XL's as being the best cartos for the KGO batts, but in my experieince so far the 2.0 Boges are filling better, have better flavor, excellent vapor and throat hit. And best of all the Boge's are using less juice than the Smoketech XL's.

I also like the fact that the Boge's are easier to fill using the condom method. I just tried to fill a ST XL with Boba's usung the condom method and it clogged up and wouldn't even vape on my battery.

The Boges wick well with VG, taste good, and are more conservative with the juice. I think I am going to stick with the Boge LR for my KGO Batts.

I'm still trying to decide if I like Boge or Kanger (horizontal) right now. Both are LR and stainless steel of course. I've only had one box of each to try out and had a few accidents with the kangers due to noobness. It's not really a fair comparison right now and I'll be ordering some more soon, of each of them. I use a phiniac tank and punch a medium size hole at the bottom and wee little one near the top (just because it seems like a good idea - too new to have an expert opinion at this time). I do have a regular size tank just because I have more options with cartos that are more readily available. I have a DCT and have some spare smoktechs if I ever get to the point where I need two ADVs, much less one at this point. Also, I didn't seem to mind the tighter draw on the kangers. I could take nice long, slow vapes on it and the taste seemed fine.
