Smok Zmax and Nova tank issues

Running my new Zmax with a ViVi Nova tank. tank has a 2.8 ohm head and am running the Zmax in mean mode at 4.2 volts. Worked awesome for a while. Swapped out the head with a new one once I had some burnt taste. Have tried to other heads and it seams as if I keep burning the wicks as well as the tank not wicking properly. Any tricks or tweaks to get my Super Catt Joose tasting well again? I have let my current tank set up set for 2 days without vaping...

I would set the Zmax to volts and work from there. The wattage setting for me anyway doesn't always work with all my juices. Some juice likes lower volts/watts and some like higher volts/watts. If you have already been adjusting the watts and still getting burnt wicks than I got nothing. Maybe somebody else can help you.
