I have been really enjoying my vivi nova mini's. Been vaping for about a month and have tried so many different setups in that time. The vivi mini, hands down has the best flavor, vapor production and TH for me. I ran it on a ego C, ego twist and now my ZMax. The vivi mini seems to run best at lover voltages. I ran the 1.8 ohm on the egos and they run good at 3.3 volts. The 2.4 ohm seems to excel at around 3.7 - 3.9 volts, anything higher than that and you don't get any more vapor production, but the taste is off and even higher voltages seem to produce the burnt taste everyone is talking about.

I realize everyone is different, but this is what I have figured out and fits my style. Today I am 8 days analog free and loving it!

I find that with 2.4ohm coil anything 3.8V starts tasting burned. It's a bizarre vape with the Nova because you get only about half the good vape as oppose to a cartomizer and when you turn up the volts to compensate it starts burning. I had no hope for another CE# but bought it anyway due to probably fake reviews so no real disappointment here. Maybe it can be modded but that's not what I bought it for.

Hello all, hope all is well. I recently bought a smoktech ZMAX and a couple VIVI-Nova tanks to vape with. The tank comes with two additional screw-on replaceable coil heads that easily allows you to interchange between 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8ohms. I took the stock one out and put in the 2.8. I've noticed that unless the tank is completely FULL, I get a burnt taste when vaping.

I figured the holes in the coil head allow juice to enter but the coil head is located at the top of the tank and whenever I vape enough juice to where is gets below that hole, a burning taste comes through!

has anyone experienced this problem? :confused::confused:

I am vaping at 4.4 Volts with the 2.8 ohm coil head

what version you have of Vivi Nova?... 1.0, 2.5, 3.0... have you a photo?... anyway, sometimes you have to turn it over to wet the resistance

I've had Vivi Nova 2.5 for couple months, never had problems with burnt taste. Little later I bought 2 invidual 2.4ohm heads, they worked wonderfully. So I decided to buy 5 more heads in a pack, got them they all have burnt taste, tried several different things no luck. Bought another 5 pack, got it today, put new one on, burnt taste..... Put my old head back on, works fine, no burnt taste, but flavor isn't great since it is gunky if you look in there. But it works.

I don't know why the new ones in the 5 pack dont work. I sent gotvapes a support ticket just moments ago. Hopefully they can send me a couple indvidual ones to see if it makes difference. I dont know why its not working anymore. I had to tune down the voltage down low to make it work one or 2 draw, but not strong enough.

I did not dry burn it when I put new ones on. Did not do that with the previous 2 indvidual ones.

I'm brand new to this, just received my mini vivis yesterday and I too get a burnt taste if I turn my twist over 4.2

Looking forward to others' answers.

This is because Vivi novas are 3.3 to 4.1 volts and stardust are 3.3 to 3.9 volts

Recommended Vape volts for 1.8 ohm Heads

Stardust = 3.7 volts
Vivi Nova = 3.8 volts

Burnt taste means your running to high of volts for the tank

It depends on the head you are using . If lower volts use a lower ohm head and vice versa. The vivi to me just doesn't like high voltage. I use a 2.4 ohm head a 4.2-4.4v and it works great. It also depends on the juice you are using fruits/desserts to me like lower voltage. That is the reason for vv you can choose it doesn't mean just go to the highest.
