I take it completely apart wash all in hot water dry burn rinse blot wicks and put back together. A lot of the time when you unscrew the top to refill it tends to loosen the head, always watch it. You will see it move. Got some needle nose pliers at hobby nutso and no more probs. Just tighten it up and works great.

just used this method, going to fill now and post results after a few minutes of vaping

I usually take that little thing off with tweezers and use my thumb nail to tighten the atty. Otherwise it will come lose. Then you put that nipple back on.
Shame they don't have good instructions on a lot of this stuff.

went ahead and followed your instructions, along with klynn and the video she posted...just filled up the tank all the way. Gonna take a few hours to vape it down to the level where I was having the original problem..

will post back..THANKS A BUNCH YOU TWO! Very informative. I didnt even know this tank was a atomizer hahahah. Shows how new I really am.

If the heads are not too gunked up a hot water bath is sufficient.
Otherwise I will soak in vodka or everclear, followed by a hot water bath.
I just heat a small glass of water in a microwave for about a minute (not boiling).
I usually remove the o-ring from the bottom of the head first, so it's not damaged.

Here is a good video if you want to try rebuilding the heads.

Yuck
why use alcohol. You know you can overdo things a bit.

If you look around you will find more than just a few juices with alcohol listed as one of the ingredients.
Think about this; if e-liquid is water and alcohol soluble, doesn't make sense that water and alcohol are both e-liquid soluble?
Also the main reason for using alcohol to clean is because it will evaporate 4 times faster than water.

    add:
Why insist on vaping between 4-5 volts when something works better at a lower voltage?

    will try this

It's not a matter of it not working right, it's just standard operating procedure when using a ce2 style device, gravity just is'nt gonna let the juice climb the wick fast enough. Still much better than poly filled cartos imo. The only problem I have is when I'm using something else that does'nt need tipping, but I still do it out of force of habit.

Yeah, It does'nt make sense to turn the voltage up if it works just fine at a lower setting, that's what vv is for, to find where it does work at.

I'm not to familiar with all of this stuff. I thought people bought these vv devices so they could vape at higher volts. But I do understand what you mean now.

You're partially correct. We use VV devices so we can turn the voltage up if we need to, but we also have them so that we can turn the voltage down if we need to. The idea is simply having the ability to adjust the voltage to the needs of whatever atty/carto we happen to be using.
It's possible that I might grab that fire breathing LR i06 this evening. That thing would make smoke come out your ears at 5v, but it's a pretty nice vape at 3.5-3.7v. Kinda nice that I can adjust my PV to it's needs.

It's not necssarily just to vape at higher volts, it's so you have the ability to make it be the best it can be at any given time with what ever juice and atty your using.
If your juice is burning your either not getting enough juice to the atty, so tip it, or your voltage is to high, so lower it. If you have some other reason you want to turn up the voltage you can do that, but why if it's gonna taste burnt.LOL The next option is to raise your atty ohms, then you can turn it up a bit, but you'll still have to tip it, maybe even more.
