Why have they so carefully excluded from their laws any product regulated and approved by the FDA.

Under this law it is now explicitly legal to sell FDA approved nicotine patches, gum, and the new hard candies to children. They even excluded nicotine candy from the age requirement.

Under the guise of preventing smoking, most of these new laws and initiatives simply replace one industry with an even more powerful one.

To make it even more clear. Candy nicotine from big tobacco company = evil. Candy nicotine from big pharmaceutical company = OK for kids.
