I was talking to my neighbor and he mentioned the electronic cigarette since we both smoke cigs. He said he got the smoke 51. A lot of people here know of smoke51 because they sell them at the mall. Anyway he said he stopped using it, but he said that when he used it, it made him feel weird and out of breath. Almost as if a few puffs felt like he smoked a few cigs. I thought it was kind of weird. Anyone else have this reaction? Or with the smoke51 specifically?

He could be allergic to PG.

That would be my best guess as well, a PG sensitivity......

I've set many friends and acquaintances up with the Smoke51 product (as well as myself), and have never had any issue like that.

Most times its the opposite, they find they use it more than an analog to get the nic satisfaction.

I've found many people using e-cigs report a lot of strange symptoms and personally, I just chaulk it up to the psychological side of the addiction. The mind is a weird instrument in deed.

That's my 2cents on the matter.

I think smokeyjoe could be right who knows. I thought about PG sensitivity and that, but I do not believe that is the case because both him and his wife used it and they both said the same thing. Perhaps they used a carts or something that had too much nicotine in it. They also said something that other people have said on this forum about smoke51, that sometimes it will taste like burnt rubber. Im thinking they might have gotten a bad batch of carts or something who knows. Just was curious if this was a wide spread problem or not. If it wasnt for the price, It is kind of cool to have a dealer of e-cigs local to you... in case of any emergency u wouldnt have to wait for shipping etc.

All up in your grill..
I had a customer come back and tell me she had a reaction. I think it's a pg allergy I told her to try getting vg liquid and see if that helps. I don't carry vg products because 51 doesn't nor have I seen any preloaded carts that fit our devices that use vg. so she will have to buy a whole other device which is too bad. But allergies are allergies.

Sorry I didnt mean to single out your product in particular. Maybe I should have not put the brand name, because i believe the problem has to do with the liquid that is in every E-cig. On another note, There is another person i know with a smoke 51 and they really like it, and says the vapor and convenience of it is great. So I am not writing this as a negative review of the product. My apologies.

Firstly there is no need to apologize. Every e-cig on the market gets negative reviews. Just because I like (and sell) the 51 doesn't mean everyone will. That burnt taste is caused by letting the cart get too hot. the material inside the cart chars and the cart is shot. I have toasted many a cart in my short career. The only way to prevent it that I have found for a heavy smoker is to use multiple carts. When it gets warm you switch to a fresh cart and let the other one cool. this greatly reduces the number of burnt carts I get.
