I think in 2 or 3 years the batteries will be much more reliable?????
I think we'll all be dead by then(battery technology is not rocket science)

hmmmmm.... another first time poster in this thread ranting and raving about the 51

Well, at least when you get a lot of those, you know the site is popular.

Neither here nor there
Even Bloog kits, with two batteries and five carts, start at $99.

Although S51 has achieved much higher market penetration (I see em in gas stations all over the place), I just don't think they will be able to hold that price point for long.

Do the gas stations sell carts only? How much? Which stations? I might have to grab some if they'd fit my nebula since I'll be in GF next week.

This is the E9?

Will they carts work with Red Dragon? Its seems they all the same E9 model.

I would like to give them a try since they seems to have the new battery which. I received my Red Dragon yersterday and yes battery is short like hell. Last 50 puffs or so. But I wonder if their carts will match my ecig, i dont want to pay another 100$ for started kit.

Also what do you guys think about the topic that this carts burn the plastic inside? I just readed that here and it worries me to being smoking the carts itself. Also as far as I know the Red Dragon which is E9 which possible is the same as smoke51 can be refilled. I still would like to refill since each cart costs me 3 times the pack of an analog and I would like to use my own juice as well.

The only reason I would order from them is because I have read their in Miami and shipping would be fast for me.

Ok I just ordered with them after reading this topic with your discount code.

Ordered a basic pack 1 ecig with 10 extra carts.

Just because they are in Florida and I hope it gets before thursday since i will run out dry of carts by them.

Hopefully it will work with Red Dragon as well but if not then well, i hope its true about their new improved battery at least.

I called on the phone and they could not tell me if it will work with RD carts, even when I said its the same ecig they made as it was they own brand and it probably doesnt work with other cart. I know this is just the E9 and they all come from the same factory so not sure whats the hole mystery they do about it.

Well lets see. Ordering from Red Dragon was great really. But I did not took into account the cart last so short and I cannot wait another week to have my carts. Just in case its true they carts dont work I bought they ecig basic starter package. It only comes with 1 battery but I sure like the case which I dont have.

Im still worried about the issue that this models burns the cart inside and you are actually smoking plastic.

Does someone know where I can get the ruyan pipe from a us store?

I dont think any carts last to long. 60 puffs maybe?

Im out of 2 in 24 hours. But the trick is to recharge them. Thats why I bought there from Smoke51 just to received the new carts for refilling as fast as possible since they sell 5 for 15$ which isnt exactly cheap.

I really dont care to much about the flavor that comes in.

Im also new to puffing. My Red Dragon carts they still smoke but they dont have any taste, so I suppose Im just burning them out so I dont use them anymore.
I only have 3 left. What I dont like about this is that is increible expensive like this. 3 to 4 times a 20 box of real cigarrettes, specially because you get 15 real strong puffs from a real cigarrette, that makes 300 good puffs per box.
This carts seems to last 15 to 12 normal cigarrettes people say but I dont believe it. Its more like 60 to 80 puffs at the most. And since Im on trial and error right now I use more. I suppose once I get used to this I will use allot less but im still trying to find out how to get the vapor I need and want.

I will probably just get that ruyan pipe and leave e-cigs only when im out. I will then use the pipe at home or office and only use ecigs when im on the go.

My red dragon batteries suck really. It came with 2 and I charged each one 3 times already. They last like 2 hours or so or 30 to 50 puffs.

I like this about esmoking but the way im currently looking at it I spend over 200$ and maybe smoke so far the equivalent of 10 real cigarrettes.

I saw this video about the ruyan pipe and I was amazed about the vapor. Specially the guy on the video says the draw is very easy. I think that will be maybe my best fit. Big, easy draw, and is probably very easy to refill as carts are big.

This ecigs stuff isnt bad but its maybe to new. Probably in 2 years or so they have a stable product. Or maybe a US factory or Europe factory starts to produce them and Im sure they will be top quality. It seems all Chinese product are like gambling. They are cheap but you get what you pay for. If there was an ecig made in the US or Europe I would buy it.

This are the flaws I see on ecigs right now, and it sems they arent on the pipe since its bigger:
1. Battery is to short. It has to be better then a box of 20 cigarrettes. If it doesnt last 1 full day nobody is going to carry an ecig with them. You pay more and you want more.
2. Carts must last longer. Allot longer. I would not care the way they work now but for the price they have to be better. They are to expensive for what you get per cart. They have to cost 0.50$ each or last 3 times as much for 2.5$.
3. The device should show or blink after 15 puffs to know when you smoke the equivalent of 1 real cigarrette. There is no way to know anything with this.
4. They should fix those carts that burn. Im sure dont like smoking chinese plastic.
5. Led on day light is invisible. Since you depent on the led light to see when its working or not, your out of luck on day light since you dont see when it turns on.

Oh im sorry if someone confused my topic.

I was not talking about Smoke51 at all there. I was talking in general about the E-cigs...

It was refering to the E-Cig E9 which is the same as Red Dragon, Smoke51, it was just a suggestion on what should be improved on the long run.

It seems Smoke51 already did with the battery. All other improvements I think just depends from the China factory.

When I talked about the E-cig I talked about the one I ordered from Red Dragon. Did not received the Smoke51 yet, but besides the improved battery the model should be same.

Im actually impressed with them on how fast they handled my order. 2 hours later after ordering they already had send the order to UPS and its on the way. I had expect the shipment to take on monday since it was Friday already.

So far, Smoke51 managed the order incredible fast. I never saw such a fast order.

US 06/05/2009 4:37 P.M. BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED

Thats on a Saturday which I find to be great. It means they actually still work Saturdays something I did not saw on any US business so far (besides me, of course :p=)

I ordered I think at 3 PM and as people can see at 4:37 they already where shipping the order.

I will for sure order again from them for my supplies. Lets see now how it goes with their new improved battery.

One of my partners was also looking for an ecigs i just recommended them because of the improved battery they carry, i also like their case that comes with.

I got a fifty one. Each cartridge last a few days and it works better than my mini. I'm not crazy about the charger--it's a cheapy and for the price it should be good.
The white end does come out to reload but the poly fill doesn't want to budge. I'm just learning about refilling and the paper clip idea should help with getting the liquid in. I've tried it with one to see how it went but I'm just learning how to make my own liquid. Actually the only thing I've found is the glycerine and I tried putting some of that in but when I puffed all I got back out was a yulky tasting liquid. Does letting the cartridge sit for awhile after refilling help?
If I get this down pat and I can make the five cartridges last a month or more, I'll stick with it.
Anyone who has further hints on how to make the cartridges last longer, I'd love to hear about it.

Well my idea is to refill them as well for several reasons. First price and second taste. Its seems the carts dry out with time or arent filled to the top.

Today I opened my red dragon carts, even the new ones doesnt seem to be filled all the way, it seems the liquid evaporates with time or maybe when they are stored for a long time. That could explain why some last more then others and the mixed experiences most people have regarding how long they last.

What I dont like about this carts is that it tastes good the first 10 puffs and then it tastes like nothing after that or it tastes bad.

Allot of people here on the forum said the same about RD carts and they recomended me Tennesse juice. So I ordered one and will try to drip them inside.

Lets see how the 51 carts tastes, but i will drip those too probably as well.

When I opened my RD carts, it really seems you can refill them if you drip on the white sponge inside and leave it to suck the liquid. I did not tried it but people here say it works and actually after filling them the experience should be allot better. You should get throat hit and better vapor not to mention taste.

I was skeptical when I readed here that the carts taste like garbage, since i dont have anything to compare them with but I agree that they dont taste as good after some using. Its also makes sense to refill them, even the new ones since you basically bring the white sponge back to life if there wasnt enought liquid on it.

Im not sure about all this but so far what people said and what recommended is 100% true.

I did knew RD had short batteries and it had a cut off. Battery problem I can live with it. And the cutoff it seems its actually something good to have because without it you will burn the cart and smoke the sponge actually. So i suppose the 3 seconds cutoff is to prevent this. Allot of people said the same. Red Dragon + Tennesse Creed
They also said RD carts taste bad.

I have the RD and Smoke51 is also on the way with some carts as well. I have the suspicious that 51 carts probably taste better but that is just a guess, regardless of that i really prefer to fill them with my own choice of juice. I hope they make blank carts to be filled someday.
Well im new to all this so I just rate it based on my experience and the rest i try to follow people advices.

Actually I like the RD better today better then the last days. Today I smoked it like normal cigarrettes and it was nice. It seems like with everything that is new, when you first received it you just are on trial and test. So you will burn more carts then usual and you have to find the trick to puff it the way you want it. I really recommend stores to always try to send their starter packages with at least 3 to 5 carts since that is what it takes for newbies until they found out if they like it. I also would recommend different flavors.

What i dont know if when this carts are suppose to be changed. Im using my 4 cart in 3 days. Its not like others dont smoke anymore. They do, and they give allot of smoke but they taste funny so i just put them apart. Im not sure what happens when a cart is suppose to be over but I dont want to find out im smoking the thing it has inside. Some had a little burned tissue on them so im not sure if they are over or if its normal. They dont taste anymore but they sure give smoke. What is suppose to happen or when do you actually know when you have to put another cart in? They lose taste very fast so only going by taste would be hard.

Well, I finally got the stuffing out of the cart. It looks like a roll of material. Some kind of stuff that doesn't pull apart all that easily. There's a wire running through it. And there's this tube type thing in it at the end that screws into the battery.

Does this mean they aren't using an Eb in it? If not what heating device? Whatever it is, it has got to be with the battery.

Getting to the Eb is why I like the mini. Keep it supplied with liquid by dripping and it's pretty much vaping at will instead of giving the cig a rest between puffs. I got two more of those on the way even if I like the 51 better. That way I can chain puff away if I want while letting one have down time.

I'd still like to know best way to add liquid to the 51 so I can carry it when dripping is out. Like I said, I like the thing.

The E liquid I can make myself. I'm buying here and there to stock up on the main essentials because I'm sure the government would rather have us go back to the analog...And they say they care. Bullcrap.
If it comes down to it, then there is the option of making your own device.

The eliquids are easy. Most of the ingredients can be bought or grown.
The atomizers seem to be the main issue -at least from I've been reading on the mods sections of this forum.

New here, and have a question about the 51 carts:

I originally purchased my starter kit from a mall kiosk, along with 16mg menthol carts. These were great tasting (very minty), and produced vapor good enough to suspend my disbelief (felt close enough to smoking that I hardly noticed it was an e-cig). Inside the box, these were packaged in foil bubble wrap and plastic.

So, I went ahead and ordered more from the website using Leaford's discount code. The carts I got were the 8mg menthol, but the taste was horrible, with almost not mint flavor at all, but incredible amounts of vapor. When I inspected the carts, I found they were different from the ones I had purchased at the kiosk, and were not packaged in the foil wrap.

The kiosk carts have beveled edges, with what appears to be four air intakes, and were stainless steel. The carts ordered online don't have the beveled edges, and appear to have a brass female component instead of the stainless steel.

I know from reading these forums which carts are cross-compatible with my 51 batteries...but I want to make sure I get the 'newer' carts (with the heavy mint flavor and the beveled edges, as I purchased from the mall kiosk). I've looked at the websites for the various compatible carts, and either they don't have pictures of the carts or show pictures of the carts that seem similar to the ones I ordered online.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or know for certain, who I can order from to get the foil wrapped/beveled edge carts? I'd be most appreciative for any help here...don't want to waste any more cash on the bad tasting carts.

Thanks!

Came back today to give an update on my previous reply on 51. I just recieved the second replacement batteries , what happen is they got the two batches mixed up so some of the first series of batteries that they were having trouble with got sent out with the replacements. The thrid set that I have now are really nice, and a more predictable performance so I am happy in how this product works.

Just wanted to update my last reply:thumbs:

Mac I hope you do well with your store !!!!

All up in your grill..
smoke 51 has been sold out of those style carts for months. everytime I ask when they are coming back my wholesale rep says either next week or maybe never. I buy thousands and thousands of dollars worth of their stuff every week and they still never give me a straight answer about anything.

To be honest, based on my conversations with the smoke 51 people I get the distinct impression that whoever I speak with over there is wearing a hawaiin shirt, sipping a mojhito and laughing at me. We are doing everything we can to find those carts from other sources but the supply process is totally screwed because of the neo facist bullies we have for a government. Until the FDA stops blocking shipments everything is going to be like this. no straight answers no fair trade and fewer choices for us the e cig smokers. Thats if they don't stop us from using them all together.

If they do ban this product I for one will have both my middle fingers held high all the way to the unemployment line. "A change we can live with." yeah right unless you smoke.

seriously though. once the 12 and 16 carts for 9mm 2 pieces make it to my store I would be happy to point you toward my supplier.
