Well this is my first weekend with my 901b. I went out last night to a local bar and couldn't wait to smoke inside haha. I was really curious whether or not I would be confronted by the owner, or staff. I waited a little while till we got our pitchers before I pulled it out. I started puffing away after the first beer and didn't have any problems. I did have some looks but no one said anything. Keep in mind I have the black pocket mini with the blue led so it looks nothing like a real cigarette.

There's a patio at this place where people go outside to smoke, and we were sitting right by the door in plain view from outside. That's when dirty looks started lol. It was like 25 degrees and snowing heavily last night..quite cold! People started looking at me with this weird face like what the hell!?! I just kept puffing away! Still no one said anything. Then after my friends went out about three times they started calling me an assh*le and such. One of my friends got fed up and just said "Give me that freakin' thing!" and started smoking it instead of going outside! lolol! It was great!

I don't think It'll be this easy at every place I go to in Chicago, but at least I know now that it won't be an issue all the time. Both of my guys are sold on e-cigs now, and I just love mine more then ever!!!

I glad it went well for you - I don't smoke to much in public because I get so busy I don't want to have to go thru all the explaining!
Having to smoke outside I'm sure will do wonders for suppliers sales this winter after the word gets around. Take note suppliers a few business cards tossed in to your current customers boxes would be a good idea. I know I could use some.

That's an excellent point. I got like five cards with my first kit, and went through almost all of em. Saving the last one for a family member or something. I'm thinking I should stock up and start selling these things in the streets this winter haha!

Business cards with orders....great idea!

I tried to explain mine to ONE person Thanksgiving day....then he wanted to know where to buy it, etc....the conversation was just too long! Then he gave me his email address to send him links...sheesh!

A simple explanation with a business card from someone you might recommend sounds great.

ZStyle81, that was my exact idea my brother and I have.. hit the bars and clubs where everyone has to go out and smoke.. toss them our business card for our site to purchase the items.. and even have a couple testers we bring with us .. maybe we should work together since you are in the city and i am in the burbs.

Yeah man. I haven't met a person yet that was turned off by the idea of these things. let me know when you guys get a plan together, i'll definitely help out and toss some cards around..

i was at a pub a few days ago with my m401 (also not cig looking) and everything was fine with the people around me cos we got to chatting about it and they understood BUT on the other side of the bar there were some complaints. the best and funniest part was that they said they could smell tobacco smoke. I had a strawberry cart in so there is absolutely NO WAY they could smell tobacco. Psychosematic response is the most hilarious thing i have ever seen.

I think a lot of people just get their kicks in life by complaining and raining on other people's parades! They could smell the smoke lol! That's good. Did they start coughing too lol!

Everybody has a vice, they complain..we smoke....i mean vape! lol

was definitely considering posting in the suppliers forum about business cards. they're too busy with online orders and shipping and what not to go out and advertise so it's up to us. i know firsthand that business cards are a godsend. i'll make sure on my next order to request a bunch.

i also use bizcards to put my current clients to work. i usually give them 5 or 10 with their name written on the back and tell them that if i get five of them back they get a free or discounted service. take note suppliers ;-)

What about something like this - you could just write in or edit in photoshop your favorite suppliers name - We Would have to get SmokeyJoe's permission to use the forum header, But it would be good for him as well as the industry in whole if we got people started in the right direction. Not to mention you got space on the back for you forum name or Real name or phone number.

That would be great! Then when someone starts asking me about it I'll just give them this and tell them to let me smoke in peace haha
