A lot of us do or did both in the start. Most time you eventually get rid of the smokes entirely other times some people still have that first morning smoke. It's really individualized. The biggest thing that keeps a lot of people smoking a few if feeling like you are doing something wrong for wanting to. You've cut down that's a win, let the rest come naturally.
Absolutely agree. I consciously chose to not "stress" about it. Long as I was smoking less, it was great. I spent more time on this new thing called "vaping" and finding flavors and stuff that I liked. I found that the more I enjoyed vaping, the less I cared about cigs. Then I found myself doing things like tossing most of the ashtrays because they stank. Telling myself, I'll keep just a couple. Then shoved what was left of the cigs and lighters and all into a cabinet because they were in the way. Then only letting myself have a cig standing in the kitchen next to that cabinet but the vaping stuff was in all the easy reach, convenient spots the cigs and lighters and ashtrays used to be. Then catching myself shoving ashtrays and all aside to make room for e-juice sample bottles.
Until I cleared that cabinet out because NEW MBV ORDER!!!
Still tell myself I can smoke if I want. I just have to drive to the little store down the road, buy a pack, drive back, figure out if I have any ashtrays left (I honestly dunno), blah and blah and more blah. And, oh, look, Root Beer! If I mix root beer e-juice with vanilla, could I get a root beer float thing going?
(Answer, almost. Try the other vanilla. Was I going to the store for something? Meh. If its important, I'll remember it later.)
