CaptJay hit it right on the money when he said don't stress if you have a cigarette. Be for I started to vape ( that's one month now) I smoked for a very long time and even having my Then very small children (who are now adults) Pleading to me to stop smoking. I still smoked. Played right into Big tobacco Hands Just like they wanted. But now I find vapeing is the best alternative to smoking. And every day, I vape more and smoke less. With out any discomfort associated with quitting. I've gone from a two + packs a day habit to sometimes as much as 3 cigarettes a day. Seems I'll smoke when I'm charging my e-cig battery. So yesterday my 510 ultimate kit arrived. 3 complete 510 e-ciggs, a PCC case, and every charger I might ever need. 5 carts and 30 mil bottle of juice my choice. I went with 24 mg Camel. Now we will see if I can give tobacco that final kiss off.

For me it was the act of smoking far more than it ever was the nicotine.

I only smoked an average of around 5 cigarettes per day, but I needed every single one I ever smoked. I needed them to take a break from something. I needed them to prepare myself for something I didn't want to do. I needed them to get away with my thoughts regarding some problem I was facing or some issue that needed solving.

I could go all day on a weekend without one, and hardly think twice about it.
Until I saw someone smoking, and then I had to have one.
And once I had to have one, I HAD to have one.

My first drag off an electronic cigarette was after dinner on Father's day.
My sister was in town and she had recently begun using one.

I knew from just one drag that this could work for me.

Keep in mind that I had never really tried to quit before. I never wanted to quit. I never believed I could quit unless I found something else to take the place of the act and ritual of smoking.

But yeah, I quit without any problem at all.

And you know what, I will stick smoke a cigarette anytime I want just for kicks. It is really fun for me to taste how horrible they are, and laugh at them and spit in their little cigarette faces. I taunt them about their complete lack of power over me now.

And now when I see someone smoking, rather than wanting one too, all I can think about is how sad it is that they know not what they do. And oftentimes, I might even walk over and show it to them.

These things sell themselves. I have gotten so many coworkers, friends, and family to get them. It's been over 5 months since I have smoked an analog and I never want to go back.

If it wasn't for this forum I would probably have gone back to smoking since my first e-cig was purchased at a mall and cost me over $150. Now I'm using the 510 at a very cheap price. ECF is the best!!!
