Definitely, an alternative.

I've never considered smoking to be a problem. I simply got fed up with the ever increasing price of cigarettes. When prices in my area went up a dollar overnight, I knew I had to either quit or find an alternative.

And, I wasn't looking forward to quitting.

It was my good fortune to stumble upon a forum in which the poster mentioned e-cigarettes. I decided to give it a try and have been vaping ever since.

I should mention, though, that I briefly returned to smoking when my attys and batteries all failed at once. I thought it might be much simpler to start smoking again.

I was wrong.

It didn't take long to resent having to buy a new pack everyday...searching for matches and cigarette lighters...misplacing cigarette packs...having people "borrow" cigarettes...worrying about where I'd left burning cigarettes...smelling like stinky ashtrays.

Then there was the guilt.

People who had teased me about my electronic toy expressed disappointment that I'd abandoned vaping for smoking again. When my wife (a smoker) expressed her desire that I resume vaping, I put down the cigarettes and ordered a new NJOY starter pack.

Hopefully, I won't have to go back to cigarettes again.

I enjoy vaping. I have no interest in stopping. I also refuse to tell someone that they should try to quit by using ecigs. Lets face it. A healthier nicotine delivery with all of the relaxation of smoking and a hobby to boot. there is no way I will quit and if the FDA forces the ban then I will be an outlaw because I will find a way to have my ecig:thumb:

I love to vape... I intended to quit smoking the real deal, just not so soon. It happened naturally when my wife and I began vaping. I feel better about the choice. I don't wake up chocking up a lung in the morning and my daughters breathing problems are no longer a daily issue. I don't smell and the house and car no longer double as ash treys. It's been a cool deal!

I never intended to quit. It just sort of happened. And now that I have experienced the health benefits, I want to "stay quit". I don't want to go back. This will not happen without e-cigs. An attempt on my e-cig will be treated as an attempt on my life. There's no alternative about it, they can have my e-cig "when they pry it from my cold dead hands." This is not rhetoric, it is a fact.
