I have been using my pen style e-cig for 3 months now.. I got suckered into buying one at the mall for $150.. Even though I paid too much I'm glad I did it, otherwise I would probobly still be smoking regular cigs.

Anyway....I have been reading threads on this site and Im a bit confused on the status of FDA approval and my future of vaping because of it.. From what I read here this morning, the FDA has rejected approval of this product and it may no longer be available in the USA. So, I went over to the mall to talk to the SE rep, who I chat with frequently. He said Smoking Everwhere has had FDA approval for 23 days now, and the mall kiosk will be here for many years to come. I told him how I read that FDA letter which was sent to the supplier which was posted in another thread and how shipments are being held up, etc.. He says thats for other products, not theirs, that their product comes from Europe, not China. He claims SE spent the money for all the testing that the FDA requires and they are good to go? So this is where I am confused... is he making this up? Will I be able to purchase atomizers, juice and cartridges a month from now?

On 3/20 I put $130 order in with ECSinc. for some juice, atomizers and a "great white".. Is this why I haven't received anything from them? maybe they cant ship anymore? Yesterday I ordered a bottle of juice from totally wicked and it shipped the same day, so I am not sure whats going on.

Thanks

I'd say their guy is full of s**t. I see Smoking Everywhere as leading the ban, not approval. Their claims are what have gotten us to the place we are at today.

, hello,

There is NO way, NO WAY NO WAY
that SE has any forms of anything on that side of it
First and foremost
someone in this forum or some other forum would have heard

I doubt that is why you haven't received your shipment. I have ordered from them before and they are very slow at shipping stuff. They must only go to the post office once a week or something!

If she (Jane @ ECSinc) stopped because of the FDA, I'm sure she would have stopped selling stuff on the website as well.

Well I just called the 800 number for SE and the person I spoke with said they are NOT FDA approved, and they have no control over what the distributors tell the customers... So what are you supposed to do when a sales person lies to you like this?

I had ordered from Jane before and it was quick service, I think because the atomizers were out of stock that could be holding it up..maybe atleast sendev erything else...I need my juice!

See what I mean? It's claims such as theirs that feed the flames and will leave us all out in the cold with nowhere to turn.

You are absolutely right regarding such claims affecting the way e-cigs are viewed by the FDA. Personally, I think that they are healthier and I certainly feel healthier. However, after we realized that such claims are not a smart idea, we removed any such references and claims from our site to avoid future trouble. Other manufacturers and resellers should do the same.

The kiosks in my area do quite well... Regarding them talking about FDA approval. Full of s**t like Walrus says. If customers ever ask me I tell them straight up regarding the situation..I get a lot of e-mails from customers concerned about the ban and I do my best to give them my honest take on it... Point of the story is.. These guys at Smoking Everywhere claiming FDA approval are lying. That's it.

No control over what the distributors tell their customers????? Who's in control of their busines??

2 words: YOU'RE FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's how you control your salespersons when they make false statements to sell product....

2 more: FALSE ADVERTISING
That's what you tell the judge.

Unfortunately, the FDA has come out with a word of their own: BAN!
