So what do you think a reasonable price would be for starter kits at a kiosk? That would be pretty sweet to open one that wasn't SE.

Someone posted a link for an ecig (901 I think) that you could get wholesale for around $11. You would have to figure the costs for a kiosk and your other expenses and price from there. Would probably be cheaper as a 1 or 2 person operation, but keep in mind, selling the product is easy, it is the ongoing customer service that would be hardest.

What kind of warranty would you offer, what to do with DOA units, etc..............

One solution just uncovers and problem that needs to be addressed.........

There are already kiosks that are not operated by Smoking Everywhere. There is a company called In Life that has kiosks in 4 out of 5 of the malls that are within a 30 minute drive from me.

They sell the SE GOLD starter kit with 2 batteries and a wall charger for $120. Same price for the 901 starter kit and pen style starter kit.

They sell single cigarette SE GOLD's with only one battery and a USB charger for $80.

Ruyan Vegas cigars for $50.

E-cigars for between $100 and $180 depending on the kit.

E-pipes for around $150.

1 dram dropper bottles of liquids in like 100 different flavors for $25.

LoL!!! I bought my first ecig from the SE kiosk... about a month later I came back with a 901 and some 24mg juice. And anybody who has seen the kiosk sees how constantly these guys vape... Well me and my buddy went to the Kiosk one day, just for the purpose of messin with these guys... Acted all interested and looking around. so they vaped and demonstrated... I hit it, sure :)... Then my buddy and I pulled out our 901's with the 24mg juice fresh loaded ;). We got them to put their little mouth pieces on the ends, needless to say there were several other people watching us at this point... nobody had ever seen a black 901 before! They toked on it like they have to on theirs... EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM CHOKED HARD!!! We just started laughing like crazy!!! I thought it was crazy... They shoo'd us off after that. I don't think they liked the attention it brought. I was thinking "It's only 24mg liquid" - It was a great experience. TW Strawberry and Marlboro liquid with TW 901's (4075). LOL. Know your product!

Good story. Good that you moved to a better PV. As many problems that are reported on this forum about SE, it wouldn't be surprising if SE turned more people away from vaping due to all the issues.

They likely choked from the strength of the liquid and not because the device. The strongest crats that SE carries are only 16mg and you handed them an e-cig with 50% more nic than they could possibly be used to. These folks also vape all day so most of the SE reps at the mall kiosks by my use very low strength carts.

Incidentally, you do not have a 901, you have an RN4075. It is made by the same company that makes the SE GOLD. The 901 is made by a different company and the one I have has been horrible on reliability. My SE GOLD lasted months before even one atomizer died. My 901 is only around 1 month old and today another battery died rounding out the entire part set from my starter kit. I already had to replace a dead atomizer and one dead battery and now I need to replace a battery AGAIN.

The dse901 has been a nice experience for me but it is the first and last DSE (Sailebao) model I will ever purchase. In the future I will stick with First Union (RN) and JoyE/Janty products that seem to be of much higher quality than their DSE counterparts.

Had my first e-cig been a 901 I probably would have gotten frustrated and gave it up. My SE GOLD was expensive but at least it works reliably thanks to the superior First Union build quality.

There seems to be a good reason why SE is able to warranty parts for a full year but nobody seems willing to warranty a dse901 for any longer than 2 weeks.

I bought the SE kit at a mall about a month ago, don't know what model it is but apparently it's a crappy one. For now it will do until it dies. I have a question though. Do you even need a battery if you get a pass through?

What I'm thinking about doing for now, is just buying a pen style atomizer or two, a pass through and some blank carts. I already have some juice. At least I could use it at home while I'm at the computer (which is when I do most of my smoking). Then I wouldn't need batteries for it or a charger, right? Or does the pass through hook up to a battery?

Not meaning to start anything but does dumwaldo work for SE?
No but I have enough sense to look past the high price and lying salespeople to recognize that their particular RN4081 is actually a very good quality product. To this day, I would probably have to consider it my primary e-cig since it is the one I use the most. It is a work horse and stands up to punishment on a daily basis being used on a commercial construction site. The amount of dust in the air that sucks into the e-cig would kill a 901 in hours. I actually have to take a needle and clean out the vents in the LED cap from time to time because I use it in such a dirty enviroment.

When I first started reading this forum I was confused by some of the comments regarding reliability and life of the parts. It was not till I got a 901 that I started to understand.

I got my SE GOLD back in the end of january. since then I have had one battery die and that was my own fault because I was an idiot about dripping. I dumped so much juice into the thing that it started dripping from the vents in the seam between the battery and atomizer and also had liquid seeping from the plastic cap on the LED. I literally drowned the thing before it died and it didn't even die completely. It would just get stuck in the on position but I could still use it if I unscrewed the atomizer one turn between drags.

A few weeks ago I killed one atomizer using the bad battery and then had two others (using different batteries) just go cold all in the same day. When I find time I will simply go o the mall and get those replaced for free. I have no rush since my warranty extends till next january.

I got a 901 back in may and had a dead atomizer within 3 days. By the time I got around to shipping the dead atomizer back I had a battery that was completely unresponsive and dead to include in the return. Today, well yesterday at this point, I lost the other original battery that came with my kit.

I am not standing up for SE. I think they are a wretched company that lies and overcharges. I am standing up for the product they sell, the SE GOLD RN4081 super mini e-cig. A product that has served me well. Bad company, good product.

I do not think it is right that people tend to bash the product unjustly just because it has a crappy company behind it. I suppose that inclination came from many years of Sprint cell phone service where I had great network service but wanted to commit several felonies every time I had to deal with customer service.

When someone comes to this forum and they are ...... about being lied to and overcharged and they are new to e-cigs and have not yet gone through 'the learning curve' they will often think their own mistakes are faults of the product itself. When a regular poster comes in and tells them the product is crap it only exacerbates a problem that is often unrelated to the product or can be easily fixed. There are so many things that can be done to improve the performance, not just on the SE GOLD but with most e-cigs.

I do not regret buying a dura c, it easily outperforms my SE GOLD. I do regret buying a 901 as it performs incredibly similar to the SE GOLD i already had that I actually invested the time into learning how to use. The only difference is the 901 seems to offer me part failures with a more regularity and frequency.

Now really, is it really that difficult a concept to grasp that I think a person should know how to drag on it, be aware that simply biting off the end cap can improve performance, dripping the atomizer makes a dramatic difference and things of that nature before they come to a determination they need to fix the problem of being overcharged by spending even more money?

EDIT
BTW
About the whole RN vs. DSE thing. Look around the forum and ask yourself why everybody wanted the bada bing so bad while other models of e-cigar were getting tepid reviews. Do you think it had anything to do with the bada bing being a RN4062 and the rest of the crop being the DSE701's? watch the reviews in the video section.

second edit
The RN4072 atomizers I got for my 901 are also much better than the 901 atomizers.

I think the RN4081 is a great product too, easy to use, easy to find carts. I still can't justify spending 150 dollars on one from smoking everywhere when my generic RN4081 is the same thing minus the damn logo. Mine has lasted a year, first atomizer was like 5 months on heavy vaping. They are all made by First Union Technology, then sold to other companies that brand it as their own, another example would be the Mini-Royal'- not well known but only 50 bucks, plus it comes with 2 atomizers. I never bash the 4081, just Smoking Everywhere. The Smoking Everywhere 2.0 however is CRAP- model Kr-808a, 100+ dollars for that thing, get the hell outa here! I agree with Dumbwaldo, lousy company, good product. I say hassle those clowns at every kiosk. I did that with my Kissbox and the manager of the kiosk wanted to buy it from me LOL. Also another point- if you sell e-cigarettes, stop taking analog smoke breaks outside, I saw 4 SE ppl doing that last time at the mall!
