Okay so I literally just quit like monday, but I don't remember it being so bad in the beginning when I vaped the last time. I seem to cough 75% of the time when I take a puff. What gives? Did/does anyone else have this problem? I don't think I coughed this hard when I 1st started smoking...

Long and old--but a good read.

A list of symptoms when quitting tobacco and changing to an ecigarette

Hang in there. If you'e not better soon, consult a physician--as always.

When I was attempting to quit and started vaping, it irritated my throat and made me cough until I quit cold turkey and after the initial withdrawals wore off it did not do it anymore. Headaches to me sound like too much nicotine. But I am not a Neurologist or a Healthcare professional so I can't give you a diagnosis.

No the headaches are from coughing....it's not even really like a headache it's like a pain in the head while I'm hacking lol

You say "when you vaped last time". Is it possible you had a different device...like a more mouth to lung device...ego or similar. But now you have a more open subohm device. Could make a huge difference.

Ha! You've already lost me lol. I'm not sure what a subohm device is or what it means. Right now I have a istick pico.

The first round of vaping I had a couple ego spinners, a vamo and a tesla. (if that helps) Both my vamo and tesla were vv/vw

My suggestion is to take just very a small draw at first and mix it with air when inhaling, just a little at a time. The devices these days put out more vapor than the earlier ones, and it tends to overwhelm your throat. A little at a time--you'll get used to it. That's just my thoughts. I had the very same problem in the beginning, even with the piddly eGo kit in 2013.

I didn't have that issue with the cig-a-likes back in 2010, because they didn't produce much vapor. But they weren't enough to help me quit smoking, either!
