I knowI hear ya! Doesn't feel like we are going to see any action from the ECF powers that be today. But I am still hopeful!
My son hated 8/8.1. He downgraded to 7 and after trying the 10 upgrade, he went back to 7.What operating system does it run? I am a Windows user. I HATE 8/8.1 and haven't completely installed 10 yet but I don't want to have to switch my OS this late in the game. Been using Windows since... what was before Windows 95? Since then.![]()
That's what i have is a Satellite and i hate this thing.Different Toshiba programs keep shutting themselves down or just quit responding,it has crashed on me a few times or will just freeze up.I thought the hard drive was the crashing issue,so i bought a new to replace it,and it crashed 5 minutes after i got the new drive all booted up haha.At tax time,i am definitely replacing this thing.I will check it out! I have GOT to get rid of this stupid Satellite. I was saving up for a nice laptop but my old Gateway died right in the middle of saving up and I had to settle for this one. It has not been right since day 1. Argh.
None of my 3 are in school. My 21-year-old is one of those uber smart people who never needs to crack a book and still whizzes through life. It drives me crazy that he won't use his talent to ensure his future!!! I had to be on him constantly in high school because he was capable of so much more than he actually did. His teachers were the same way. So frustrating!!! I am really hoping that once he gets done with his tour in the Marines he will actually apply himself. He can do absolutely anything he wants to. I would give anything for a mind like his! I do think my daughter will eventually go to school but she has her hands full with my 6-year-old granddaughter at the moment. My 19-year-old wants to be an online game reviewer, lol. He has mad skillz in the video game department.Yeah, it's definitely a blessing! Lucky for us he really applied himself all throughout school...too bad that didn't rub off on his twin brother!![]()
I use Dell, Dell and Dell.
Why?
They were made to be repairable and I'm dang good at bringing dead PC's back to life![]()
What did you go to school for? Congrats on being able to see the finish line!!Nice! I have 4 classes after this semester and then I am done with school for good!
The new Smok Koopor sure looks nice

Repairable... that can be argued about. Custom motherboards or power supplies that can not be replaced by anything else than replacement parts from the same manufacturer does not count as repairable in my opinion.
Sure, it's different with laptops, but for desktop PCs, all this custom motherboard/psu crap is asshattery from the manufacturers side. :grumble:
I don't know enough about them to know if one will help me with this piece of crap. My CPU runs at 100% all the time. It never goes down. I have tried everything I can think of to help slow it down (aside from uninstalling the apps-they pay me money!!!). If I added a SSD would that help speed things up for me?SSD....the way to go
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping

Well this one has always been super smart and always knew what he wanted to do (studying to be a psychiatrist) but his brothers on the other hand, well...his older brother, he wants to go to school, but he's got a wife and kids so work it is for him right now. He did work his way up from just a counter worker to being general manager of his restaurant in just a couple of years though, so he does have motivation! Now the twin, well he originally wanted to go in the Marines when he was in high school, even signed up, but when it came time to take the oath, he panicked and backed out. Have no idea what he'll do with his life...right now his ambition is to be a rapper...OMG really?! Like that's gonna happen!None of my 3 are in school.
