Just dropping a line saying that I am really glad for this thread.... Good ideas abound. My RSST worked GREAT at 1.3ohms... I dropped down to .8 and it STILL worked great, but then I started running into juice starvation issues... damn thing would give an awesome vape, until it didn't.

Then I was vaping battery acid. I pulled the bell and fired it and noticed that after a little bit, the vapor production would shut down and the coils would start to glow, even with plenty of juice in the tank. ...! I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT!!!! heh
I fiddled with the wick, bent in the neg and pos leg to increase contact (even though I didn't see any hot legs), twisted the wick a bit to loosen it up a tad... nope. Then saw this thread pop up while I was about to put up a post... and lo and behold, someone with the same issue.... some sage advice was to pull the fill plug to help eliminate a vacuum lock on the tank. I pulled it and the vaping gods smiled upon me as it is wicking much better.
I don't think leaking will be too big an issue. I've emptied the tank a couple of times by tipping and getting juice out the fill hole, and it doesn't come out easy (50/50 NET) so incidental leaks shouldn't be too bad. Though, I used to vape with the wick at 6 o'clock, now I've twisted it to more of a 4/5 o'clock to put that fill hole up higher.
Does mesh's wicking slow over time? When it was fresh last week, it wicked like a fire hose.
