Alright.. I dropped my V-max. Twice!
Once from my bedside table @ around 3'. Landed on the battery cap so all is good. Everything working fine.

Just 30 mins ago, i dropped it on my table as in, it was standing on its battery cap, i pushed it a little, and it toppled over. On its switch!

Now, I have a "touch button" Vmax. No more "click-y" button. All i need to vape now is to gently push on the button and it fires. Checked with supplier and it is still covered under warranty. BUT, i bought it from Malaysia and its too much of a hassle to send it over and wait, etc etc especially since this is my only PV right now other that my SDKs.

Gonna use it as it is for now. Behold... the silent Vmax. "Stealth" vaping on steroids!

Alright. Finally got my V-max back from my supplier. My fault as I kept delaying on the shipping.
While the V-max was away, I also got myself a Provari and have been using it since the absence of my V-max.
I'm not going to list what I think of the Provari but all I can say is, I'm back on the V-max (they gave me the reset-to-3V-version on replacement) and the only difference in vaping performance I can think of, using both devices, is that I have to set the V-max to 3.5V to achieve what I achieve by setting 4.5V on the Provari.

But yeah, now that I have 2 PVs, I will be swapping my tanks between the 2 of them pretty often, depending on the occasion and mood. I have to say this tho, the light weight of the V-max feels really good in the holster I got.

Thats funny....mine too. Mine just stare up at all the vapor like it's a ghost, then they dash away like it's tea time in the family room or something.

Exactly what mine do!

They don't squint like it hurts their eyes, which they did when I used to smoke analogs indoors.

So, Vapnj, are you planning on doing a youtube video when you present us with the coil/wick building instructions? Obviously any info would be appreciated, but a video would be really awesome.

HELP!!!!!! Lol
Plugged my wr188 charger
Heard a slight, faint, barely audible pop
Lights on charger went off

Of course I'm not going to use this anymore, and the slight bad taste left by the charger has me looking around for another charger.
What are your suggestions?
A. Just bite the bullet and get another wr188
B. I've been looking at the Sysmax i4 (annoyed by the v1, v2 debacle)
C. Pila charger
D. X-star I think

Any and all inputs are appreciated

So far the best 2 chargers I've used/have and continue to are the Ultrfire WF-188 and the 4 channel Sysmax Nightcore Intelli-charger i4. The i4 really charges everything/anything. The only battery it can't do it that crappy 4.8v NIMH battery (light green) and I wouldn't use that batt anyway to have to charge it. But the i4 does my AA Energizers for my remotes, AAA Duracells(1.2v) for my other remotes, 16340 - 26500 3.7v for pretty much all mods/ecigs. It automatically detects what size batt and what milliamp to charge it at. Very nice charger.

Unfortunately I DO NOT do You tube vids. But I usually do take the time to explain it in such great detail on this thread it more or less paints a picture for the interested. And yes I will give links and FULL descriptions for the actual products used to rebuild them.

If you can hang tight and let me be the guinea pig since you did pay for yours and I didn't, mine will be here today, tomorrow at the latest. I've now got some decent experience with both "true Genny" SS mesh R.A.'s and silica style tank rebuilds. Every stardust, Smoktech SCT, eGo clearo, vision,etc... I've rebuilt "CORRECTLY" has been a night and day difference, so much so I built 4 flawlessly then mailed them out to all 4 creators/designers/manufacturers of them and showed them how it should be built to actually get ""FULL"" robust flavor and tons of vapor, including all my specs with it in detail....maybe they'll listen. Anyway, if you give me just a day or so I can suggest exactly what/how to modify it to get optimal flawless performance with NO need of "re-charging" the wick to keep the coil/coils wet to avoid burnt dry hits. It might save a wrong turn and losing the money invested. Just an offer.

In no way am I doubting your ability or skill level so please do NOT take this post as such...simply trying to aid a fellow VMAX owner/vaper in being able to use the Vivi to it's full potential...if it has one.lol

Oh that's great!! And thanks...def let me know how you make out. looking at it now and the build quality really does't look bad for the price..Nice feel to it anyway..The concept is def a point in the right direction imo :)

Fuzzi, I think we need a "Mr.Mann" over here to make a index for the new VMAX users coming into the thread to help them with all their questions...whatcha think...VMAX thread index page ??? lololol

We would need our own sub-forum for that wink-wink

Got the gunmetal version from CCV in today. The button while loose, is more responsive than the version one and two I had previously. Will be doing all the hardcore tests over the next few days in my spare time. Just like the previous versions the voltage is a few clicks off. 3v hits much more like 3.5v or so, 4.5v more like 4.8v....
