Since receiving my ViVi srt tank I have got it working real good. I was telling my buddy over coffee last night that due to it's extremely high flavor that I need to mix juice with less flavoring for it. That got me thinking about just why that is and I come up with the idea that I'm drawing into my mouth them little pops and splatters coming off the wick First I rolled up some poly filler and put it into the hole on under side of top cap. This worked real good but I didn't quite think it could sustain much use, it was soaked after 12 good hits. I replaced the poly with rolled up piece of ss mesh after torching it and it seems to hold up. Flavor strength it right in line with dct. I was concerned that the extra juice accumulating with start filling the wick area of tank but it must be recycling it instead. Your comments are most welcome.View attachment 124151

I get those pops on my Vision V2 Vers3 (Vivi type atomizer). Sounds like a viable idea, I'm going to try it.

Edit: I cut a 1 cm circle of ss mesh, wrapped it around a drill bit and pressed it into the bottom of my tip. I works. Im getting a little gurgle but no sharp bites to my tongue from the pops.

Edit2: I think 400 mesh is a bit too tight, condensate has built up to the point where It sounds like I'm blowing bubbles throught it.

Time to try it over the coil.

Edit: It works.

I rolled the mesh like like rolling a cig as not to have vapor going through little holes of mesh, I wanted more of something of a baffle. If yo look through my tip it looks like looking through a cartomizer when held up to a light. The first few hits tasted bad but after that flavor was normal.

I see now. That may be better. The flat disc pressed in is working ok though too.
Nova top cap has simliar sized area to place it, would be a little shorter but certainly couldn't fall out when cap is on. Mine is approx 10mm x 150mm(mesh), I am on my 3rd tank with out having to do anything with it.

I tried it your way, much better. Getting gurgle though. Not from that though, I'm getting a lot of condensate in my tip, I loosened it so it flows back and all is well.
Mine can simply drip back to upper part of tank as with a Nova, it would try to go down air tube I guess

Funny how a simple little comment can stir up so much bs...this is afterall a VMax thread not a Provari thread. ;) Might want to head over to the Provape forum if you want to praise it.

Who started talking about the Provari in this thread?
Have a look at your posts and I think you'll find out.

Another thing that is noteworthy is the design, menu system and overall concept of the Vmax.
Do you think the Vmax would even exist without the other device?

Your point is that the ProVari isn't perfect - fair enough. I've had 6 Vmax's, three of which have died, apparently the Vmax isn't either.
You said the Provari is outrageously expensive - I pointed out the fact labor and materials cost more in the US and that there was only $60 difference in the original Vmax price - what's the problem?

I posted the first picture of the steel Vmax, the first picture of the blue display version and pictures of the mainboard so I think I've contributed to this thread - I've also invested plenty of my money in buying the Vmax.

You stated your opinions about the Provari in this thread - am I not allowed to state my opinions back?

As a self-appointed referee I'm calling the game due to rain. Time to shake the hands of the opposing players and all sit down to have a beer together.

I'm buying :)

:toast:

Will I PM you my address so that you can send me my airline ticket to Ontario?
My thermal runaway has ended now:)

Hey all my vmax bros, how is everyone doing?
I love my vmax, as a matter of fact I am sure I will be buying another one at some point, something shinier or with more functions. So this is in no way meant to bash the vmax and I hope no one takes it as such.

Am I the only one infuriated by the 10 sec shut off????????:glare: I really really hate it. None of my other mods have a shut off, and I guess I never realized how long my vapes are until I got it. It's sort of like daddy telling u u don't need seconds or something like that, lol

Any chance the Z will have a longer shut off?? :D

You stretch what I say out way too much...I only said if people want to praise the Provari then you might want to take it to the Provape forums. Did I say "Dirk go take your opinion else where"? Nah.

I paid 60 bucks for my VMax so compared to the $150+ price tag of the Provari not including the kit which is $200+ it is in my opinion like I said outrageous. Cmon we all know that it does not cost that much for a stainless steel flashlight tube with a little circuit board and prob takes 5 minutes to assemble...they are making bank.

I could also care less if the USA or China makes it. The USA is a very corrupt place and even though I live here I would go to another country in a heart beat if I could afford it. It's the USA's fault everything we have is made in China.

Fuzzi....Just remember our 16oz. glasses are their HUGENORMOUS PINTS !!! LOL If I drank I'd join all 3 of ya ...but I don't.....so I won't......but enjoy. And for the sake of the thread and the other 4 that were viciously closed on us let's try and keep the peace. At this juncture since I know were all half-whitted here we all know all their is to know about both devices and I'm pretty sure everything that could be said about both devices has been said more than once. Let's all just try our best to keep it +positive+ and moving in a -->> forward motion. This thread is definitely one of the better, most informative, accurate, and clean threads out there. Let's try and keep it that way can we ?

Would be nice...but as soon as somebody states their opinion that "the price of a Provari is outrageous" all hell breaks loose. I get it though the people that shed out all that cash for a Provari gets hurt when they see stuff like that.
