what atomizers are you using people?
anyone apart from cartomizers giving hot vapor?
I have reserved my VMax for my AVA LR 1.7 Ohm, at 3.5 to 3.7v.... fantastic. ( the AVA is a great atomizer; it has some idiosyncrasies though, but it works great on the VMax.

The beast after 12 days! so far so vaping good and zero issues. I should be getting the black vmax soon. Got the black one for 80 shipped at ivape.net during memorial day. Yes, besides vaping I tinker around model cars :D It's a liquinator tank with a little bit of custom touch by me.

Just over 1 month for me and no issues to speak of. $80 shipped is a great buy; it's likely the pricing will normally settle near that number eventually. I mostly use Smoktech 6ml and 4ml DCT's with the ST 2.5ohm flanged / prepunched cartos. Also a generic 1.7ohm 306 atty for dripping and flavor testing (very warm). I'm happy with this setup although the tanks do need the occassional blowing out due to flooding but that's no big deal for me. It is in fact my 'workhorse' setup that I find quite satisfying. I'm surprised at how well the black finish is holding up actually. Apart from some very minor scuffing where the rim of the end cap makes contact my unit could still pass for brand new. It's a shame the end cap threads are so lame. I think it's safe to assume that no matter how much care you take with them they will eventually fail from normal use. Hopefully ST will make replacement end caps available for sale.

So no one else is using the most flavor and vapor producing carto out there but me and Freddie? You guys have to get some Boge 801 "FUSION" cartos. They work awesome in tanks, way better than 510 Boges. And the collar at the bottom keeps the tank from moving. These are hands down the best cartos I've ever used. The flavor in these is so robust and full, it's amazing.

If i buy carto's it's Iken Fusion they are 801 but have a 510 body (510 d/t) and simply the smoothest, and flavorful. The Boges are good imo, but the Fusion is trouble free smooth imo.
you need a 510 to 801 adapter. I hear his 808's are great too (Ikenvape).

*Hey my bottom cap threaded right for some reason; just put fresh AW IMR's on and it snugged up just right! COOL!

I am getting head rush from my AVA LR 1.7 at 3.6v on VMax....

I have to AGREE with VAPNJ350 & Ukeman that the 801 FUSIONS are the BEST cartos to use in TANKS period! I have used the Smoktech's BOTH single and dual coils and the Boge 510 and the 801 Fusions by far have the BEST draw and have BETTER QUALITY filler than ANY carto out there IMO! The filler in the 801 Fusions are OUTSTANDING bringing out he flavor of your juices the BEST! The draw is just right like Ukeman said...SMOOTH with NO TIGHT draw or loose draw...JUST RIGHT! The Smoktech's leak when you punch multiple holes in them, to where the Fusions I have punched 4 holes and NOT ONE LEAK PERIOD! It is just a BETTER QUALITY made carto! Ikenvape and Boge BOTH make the Fusions and IMO are the same! Guaranteed once you guys try them, you won't be disappointed! :D

Im trying to get Andrew at C.C.V. to carry both standard and XL sizes in Stainless steel for tanks and single use, as they are awesome in or out of tanks but it's going to take more than me to convince him him to carry them on his site. If this is something you would like to see in CCV's lineup, since he kinda is the carto bundle king and pioneer in the realm shoot him a email or go to his thread and inquire about them or request them. He only listens to his customer base. Take care guys and gals.
