Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

Fazed I love ya brotha and all my ecf and VMAX brothers, but that is one ugly setup. Im sorry man, Im just a smooth lines kinda guy with no protruding edges ..but to each his own, Im not here to judge, I'll leave that to the man upstairs. But ya got to admit it's a bit gaudy and just a little bulky on top of the beautiful VMAX. I tell ya what, I've got a new toy on the way to me that's a Rebuildable atty, All surgical grade Stainless steel and fits flawlessly and smooth on the VMAX, just like the 3.5mL DCT but 1/2" taller. I'll post some pics when I get it, should be here by Friday. That Ratank needs to be on top of a Silver Bullet or a Bolt. And ofcourse as usual THIS IS STRICTLY MY OPINION. Everyone has their own taste in looks. Take care everyone and Im glad the R.A. is working good for you.

It is kind of ugly. Looks better on the ProVari or Silver Bullet. HOWEVER... I just rebuilt this thing with a 3.6Ω coil and am running it on the VMAX at 4.2v indicated and HOT DAMN that's a good vape! It's like a flavor explosion in my mouth! I am having some wicking issues though (I'm not the best rebuildable rebuilder I guess) but this coil is better than my last one. So it goes I guess.

I do have a S&S DEFCON en route to me (should be here tomorrow) which is a Genesis Line style atty made by Chopper71 here at ECF. That I'm sure will look much better on the VMAX.

Just wanted to share the joy with my vmax bros. I've now reached my 'avoided 1000 cigarette' milestone!
In no small measure I have my vmax to thank for that.
Can you imagine what 1000 cigarettes looks like in a pile?

Oh yeah, this is for EVERYONE !!! Anyone who uses, likes, and prefers cartos. Please do yourself a favor.....if you don't already have a 801 to 510 battery adapter.....GET ONE .....Then go get a 5 pack of ""BOGE 801 "FUSION" 2.8-3.0 ohm"" in standard(40mm) or XL (50mm) size. Im telling you these things truly are ""THE CARTO"" to have and use if your going to use cartos. If your not sure why it's called a "fusion" carto let me fill in the blanks for ya. What BOGE did was take a 510 diameter tube, same length as a normal 510) and press fitted it onto a 801 threading. And kept the 801 type internal setup. I've never been a fan of anything BUT 510. NOT ANY MORE !!!! I haven't bought a 510 anything since my 1st box of these. 1st thing you'll notice....FLAVOR....HOLY FLAVOR !!!!! Their was so much more flavor than a 510 I was honestly waiting for my tastebuds to jump off my tongue and smack me in the face for not getting these cartos before now. So that's what i"ve been missing...Ahhh. VAPOR, I feel like the vapor production is thicker and a little better, now keep in mind I am using a VMAX at 3.5 - 3.8 volts. It's real hard to get anything BUT huge amounts of vapor with this particular device, and you folks that have 1 know EXACTLY what I'm talking about...Right ??? ..... Right ! Throat hit, it's definitely there. I'm not a huge TH guy, the kinda TH I like is not due to Nicotine or way too high PG levels or %. It's more like.... holy mouthful of sooo much vapor theirs no way I don't feel that thick ball of white plumes hit the back of my throat with such thickness and density who cares about more PG or too high nic levels just to achieve it. Anyway, that ended up being much longer than I anticipated. Point and case... Do yourself a favor if you prefer carto's, go get a pack of BOGE 801 "FUSIONS" .... I highly doubt you will be anything other than impressed and satisfied is more ways than 1 . Take care everyone and have a great day !!!!! ...........J

Tip: I usually use these at 4.3-4.5V on a LT 3.2 & 4.0 Amp,...
On my VMAX's I take it down to 3.5-3.8V Max. ........Blisssssss !

If you like fusions, keep an eye out for when Ikenvape reopens and try the Ikenvape 801 fusions. They are built to his spec, are not precisely the same as the more generic Boge 801 fusions. They're the only carto I've used on my VV tube since last September

(PBusardo did a fusion review early this year, there was some confusion, people thought that the Ikenvape and Boge were the same -- they really aren't, he did a correction/addendum after the initial review.)
