This is the hole patterns .....I posted these before for Freddie and everyone a while back also.

Basically it's 5 holes on 40mm cartos and 6 holes on XL 50mm cartos and this is the cut and dry of it ::
- 2 holes at bottom just above end cap on opposite sides (I just use the 2 holes on the collar for a guide on the Fusions)
- 2 holes 1/4" above the bottom holes exactly opposite of the 2 bottom holes (now theirs 4 holes in all 4 quadrants around the coil inside)
- 1 hole at the top just under the top cap (should be facing you as your holding your pv to vape. This acts as a top feed to merely keep the filler wet from top to bottom as is only dripping a drop or 2 inside the top but only when held at the 45 degree angle that most of us hold our pv at when vaping.
FOR XL's - I just add 1 hole either at the top opposite of the 1st or I add it in between the top hole aqd middle holes anywhere that looks good and even foe even coverage. REMEMBER: A WET CARTO IS A HAPPY, LONG LASTING, GREAT PERFORMING CARTO.
Keep in mind.....I keep the holes at the bottom somewhat small, but I put bigger holes above the holes below it ( the higher the hole the bigger I make it, but only by a 32nd or maybe a 16th of an inch. If you put bigger holes at the bottom you will get flooding and/or leaking due to their not being enough filler material to absorb the juice between the holes and the bottom connection. After using this technique a few times you'll get right where to do every hole rather quickly. Just use LOGIC. Also the juice mix I use exclusively is 60pg. No distilled, NO PGA...EVER!!
DC CARTO's (Pre-punched/plated w/ 1 hole at bottom) - I ONLY put a small hole at the top "facing me" just under the top cap usually opposite side of bottom hole but only big enough to dribble a drop of juice in everytime I take a vape to keep the top filler wet and to feed the top coil naturally via gravity. ( very small hole, same as bottom hole or smaller)
