Those high end rebuild-able attys are of great interest to me but I have a hard time justifying the price. Have these replaced carto tanks for your daily vape? I have yet to find something that compares with the simplicity and performance, of coarse price is part of equation but I feel there's always a better mouse trap out there. I will probably get one and for sure could have bought one if I had all the money that was spent on the usual " little trinkets". Your comments please.

I'm trying to justify a RBA too. Price, fiddle factor and which one to get. I'm not in any rush since the carto tanks are working for me.

3 letters....1 word.....""DID""...... I got the DiD R.A. about 2 weeks ago. As my 1st Rebuildable it did kick my A55 ay 1st but now that I have it up and runnin great...it's just that....GREAT. It's the ONLY R.A. you can go to a website and get right ""NOW"". No waiting on a list for 6 months.....no if your cool enough and in the right vaping "click" you'll get 1.....and it's really affordable at $100. You wait 10-12 days for it to arrive and thats only because NY customs. Im lovin it. If you want to wait till Smoktech releases theirs in a month or less Im sure it will be even cheaper and maybe a good way to find out if a R.A. is really a fit for you. I should have the Smoktech R.A. within the week, I can let you all know how it is if your curious. But in all honesty the DiD's machining and fit is truly impeccable and just plain flawless. It is beautiful and pretty easy to setup.

Hey guys and girls, I'm posting this to see if there is any interest in me taking over moderating the vmax elite group. There where a few members suggested for this opportunity but where not able to take this on so I will step up here to keep it alive if you guys want me to. As of this post I have sent a pm to valsacar asking that they do not shut the group down and to consider me for taking it over as the moderator. We need someone to accept new members to the group and there are no active mods for it anymore which means after 6 weeks of no mods it will be shut down. I just want to see this group stay alive and wonder if the rest of you do too. If there is someone that would prefer to take this on instead please speak up as I would be happy to let you do so as I feel there are some very qualified people on this thread that may have more time or frequent the site more than myself.

Personally, I would love to see someone step up to keep the group alive...

It's in the works now man, I will be taking ownership of it and then I'll decide how I want to proceed with it once that happens as far as new memberships are concerned.

Also wouldn't hurt to find another mod to help me out with this if I'm away for a while or something, so if anyone is up to it that has a great rep around here to back me that would be sick

@ kurtus. You're welcome to what is probably a thankless job. So let me be the first, and maybe the last to say "Thank You!". JK. As far as a helper, well I'm divorced twice. Neither of switch was my idea, I have serious commitment issues.

Well come on now......assuming your a guy here, you say it was her idea, I'd say it's her with the commitment issues bud not you:)

Since I appreciate your input greatly (you're one of the reasons I have a Vmax), I'm curious about RAs. What are the benefits or pluses of them aside from life-span and cost in the long run (which I'm assuming)... Sell me

Kurtus.... As far as excepting new members go for it brotha, Freddie had me basically moderating the thread as I will continue to do so if you have no objections of course but that's really all the responsibility I can commit to at the moment, very demanding career with sometimes long hours. I try to check on the thread every night after work, dinner, etc.... to answer any questions directed to me or anything I can fill in the blanks with for our members. Let me know where you need me if at all, thanks Kurtus, and thanks for stepping up I just simply could not commit when Freddie asked me in good conscious knowing I could not give it the time and attention it not only needed but rightfully deserves. Thanks again K. ..........J

To my knowledge, via the Smoktech I spoke with, their are only "2" versions of the VMAX. V1 & V2. Their are multiple finishes and more on the way, but only 2 Versions so far. The internal chipset and PWM has NOT been altered, changed, or re-tuned in any way since the V2. And their have been some members rumoring about the textured VMAX's in the very 1st "PROMO" pic about being released as a new "version" nothing could be further from the truth, sorry but it's just not happening. That was the very very 1st promotional picture Smoktech released for basically feedback and a "rough " idea and shape of what the VMAX to come "could" maybe look like. That being said, lets ALL try to separate ourselves from the other threads that serve up more mis-information than accurate and make very sure what were posting is extremely accurate and true and not just post just to post something. A lot of threads out there on ecf tend to get a lot of mis-information out there, theirs 1 thing I pride myself with about this thread...we've done pretty well, for the most part of keeping all the info here on this thread pretty accurate and on point. The very last thing I really care or want to see is a nice device like the VMAX get into this Lavatube and Stardust category with so many versions it's absolutely confusing to the buyer and more than half of allll the version hype is due to ecf members posting about a new "version" of a certain product all because they noticed on "1" of the products they received it must a new "version" 14 because it has a new little notch on it right here, which really wasn't a new anything, just a manufacturer flaw or burr, or defect. Then, low and behold they must go to ecf and post about this new version product they just got. Then the next person, then the next person etc.... now that same product that really only has 2 maybe 3 version or revisions has now 14 different versions and the 13 before the last are worthless. This post was originally intended to make sure the VMAX family was ALL on the same page so the correct info gets out there, but as you can tell, I may have taken it a bit further. But I honestly feel much better now that it's been said,or typed rather, and I know I'm NOT the only one who's thought this or feels the same way. I guess how many likes this post gets will tell me and everyone else where we all stand.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this and even more so, keeping this thread going and full of "accurate' information for the current members and those to come in the future. Take care all.....J
