Errol there is a place called Powerwholesale that carries them. They have the Efest in 18650, 14500 and 18350 for very reasonable prices. For example a pair of 18350 are $4.15. Just don't know about their shipping cost.

I put in an order for some 18350 units a few weeks back and on the initial order they show no shipping cost if shipped by their mail service. Signed into paypal but never saw a balance nor a confirm order. Late the next day I got a bill with the shipping cost near the same as the four pairs of 18350 bats so I cancelled the order.

With Panisonic CGR19650CH I was able to get 4.13 volts with 1.3 ohm load which is 3.176 amps , but I was just stating what setting that I was using not the voltage that I was getting under load

Of course you are right. The only reason I even mentioned is was because you mentioned actual voltage for the other two comparisons. "3 volts on Vmax v1 and 3.5 volts on SS Vmax".

At any rate it wasn't meant to insult your intelligence, just point out their is quite a spread between 6v and 3v, 4.5v and 3v, not so much. :)

Not only did I help get another person start vaping but I was able to sell him a nice hardly used LT v1 , clearomizers, batteries, charger and 30ml DIY liquid. Then I directed him to ECF. Good for him, good for me. I wish I had started with VV mod as I initially spent a lot to get "satisfied". Blu cigs for first 3 days. more than a LT. Getting closer to amount needed for DiD :)

Oh no problem i just wanted to point out the difference between using Vmax compared to LT 1.5. with min voltage on Vmax and maximum on LT 1.5 and by the way the Vmax seems stronger on 3v than LT on 6v. Just giving some love to the Max

Yeah there's a big difference.

I have both a lavatube 1.5, a chrome lavatube 2 and a Vmax SS.

I haven't even looked at my lavatubes since i recieved my Vmax (The lavatubes have a very airy draw compared to the vmax. The vaper feels like you're inhaling air compared to vmax)

Lavatubes are good though, but they can't compare to the Vmax.

Ok been lurking kind of heavy and have decided. Think I will get the chrome the chrome vmax. Been trying to figure out whether to get the provari or something. Just was having a hard time justifying the promax. After going through this thread I have decided to get the vmax. You can go to square deal and get a 3 year warranty for like 15.00 bucks. Now here is my legitamite question. Guess I will buy from CCV also after looking over the thread. Would I be better off just not to buy the batteries from CCV so as not to get any knock off batteries and just get the IMR's through some other retailer? IF so who is a good battery retailer. Next question, If i get the button top batteries I guess I do not need the magnet, do I? Is it better to get the flat top and the magnet?
Next question, I also have a box mod that uses 14500 ultrafire, If I get this battery charger from CCV,Sysmax i4 Intellicharge Battery Charger, will it charge the 14500's, I guess it will charge the 18350's for sure, and maybe might last question.
I have seen some people talk about the Efest battery, Would I better to purchase these instead of the regular IMR's not really sure what the difference is.
Thanks to everyone for all the info you have put out there. It really helped me make my decision.

I have 1 of the NEW V2 Chromes with the true eGo top connector. I haven't put it on the LeCroy 312 Scope yet but it's obviously using PWM. So far I really like it, it's a more "calm" and mellow type vape/device compared to my MAX's but that was expected for more than obvious reasons. I had 6 boxes of stardusts sent to me for testing a few weeks ago, after trying 1 I put em away. But I now tried putting "my" RY4 from Gourmet Vapor in 1 and put it on the V2 and wow...after 10-12 break in puffs this is a very satisfying and enjoyable vape. I have the V1 & 1.5, & 1.5t LT from "June but this V2 feels better in every way not to mention very heavy and solid.....the chrome dipping on this one looks like it was triple dipped the finish is so thick and deep in luster. The finish on mine is as good as the DiD R.A. and thats saying somethin'. As far as power goes it feels much better than previous. I'm at 3.5v on the V2, with the same carto (Fusion) and same juice to get the equivalent feel and vape I have to go up to 4.2-4.3v on the 1.5/1.5t, and the L.Rider V1 (true LT) well lets not even go there....it's a joke. 6v doesn't even feel like 3.0v on the V2. I'm anxious to see what the LeCroy Scope shows me ...hopefully tonight.

And I can't wait to get the Vmax with the eGo cap now that I found a juice that taste really really good in a stardust....never did like those things except the fit and finish look of them on a eGo...till now....not too shaby.

You're talking about the 2.1 or whatever they call it right? (the one that's supposed to have 3.9-4 amp limit)

It was maybe 10 days or so when I called CCV about sending nipple top Efests and they said they still had some Vmax v1s as well as some prototypes if anyone wants one of the "wildly" powered ones. They answer the phone there which I found pleasantly refreshing. Keep in mind about the button sticking on the early ones.

"smoktech and I are working on a top secret mod to end all mods"

Sounds interesting :)

"You are going to .... when i tell ya about this mod,, you are getting very close:

Tube style

VMAX LIKE DISPLAY

Switchable between varible wattage or voltage

5-17 watts

take 1.5 dual coil to 7.5 volts (insane anyways, but it would do it)

24 stage programming

use stacked or un-stacked battery's

make tube style first,,,,then do same process in gripper style,,,,OK now cats outta the bag.

Told them the Darwin would been the ultimate mod,but it was poorly built, overpriced, down right ugly, hard to use controls.,,,had that guts in a tube mod, most out there in search of the perfect mod would be over."
