Completely disregard everything I said in my last few posts. I'll be sticking with the Vivi Novas. Apparently the issue wasn't the Vivi Nova, it was the lava tube. Not sure why, but I always got a burnt taste when I went above 4.3 volts with any flavor on any of my Vivi Novas (2.4 ohm heads).

I'm now using them with the VMax, and they hit like a ....ing train. I'm officially in love with my new VMax after about 15 minutes of use lol.

Took some paint stripper to my black VMax. Now it's a chrome VMax :) still got a little polishing and touch ups to do.

I have several different duel coil XXXXL Smoketech cartos (have the Ego skirt) if you wanna try them..PM me your info and I'll send them out to ya ;) Some people really like em, but as everyone has pretty much stated the taste compared to the Viva may be quite diff for you..

Mine doesn't seem that bad..it's a SS rev4 from MV..

Nah it's not that bad. Just a bit loose. I'm trying to find flaws at this point. Really impressed. It's such a huge jump from my lava tube.

By the way, thank you for the offer on the cartos. I'm completely happy with the Vivi Novas now that they're getting proper power from the VMax, though :)

Understood, and I wouldn't call the post that people responded to objective at all

But I have both, and I'm happy, pros and cons sure, and I do prefer the Provari, but I'm nevertheless glad I have a Vmax.

At the end of the day, just don't mess with my nic, my PVs? whatever lol

EDIT: Oh and don't touch the coils on my RBAs, I'll blow a gasket...

^^^^^^This.
Why can't some people understand you don't have to trash a certain device to enjoy another.

Because people that fear confrontation in real life like to get combative and vent their frustrations from under the mask of anonymity that the interwebz provides. Sad but true.

So I should be going for higher ohm single coil with the VMax, then?

All I use on the VMAX is 2.8-3.0Ω cartos...sometimes a 3.0Ω Dual Coil in a slim tank, but that's it. I get the best flavor with the 3Ω single coil hands down.

Anything at or above 2.5Ω single coil or 2.5Ω DC should be fine and do really well on the VMAX. But I do recommend 2.8Ω - 5Ω to be able to enjoy the "FULL" range the MAX has to offer.

A lot has changed in the ecig world Cyrus Vap sir. When I first started vaping maybe only 5% of vapers even owned a mod, and maybe 5% of them had a vv device. Now mods can be had for under $50, vv for under $100. The first two vmaxes I got one died during tests with oscilloscope, the other died after two weeks of heavy use. Now that we're up to revision 4, we'll see. The difference between the Provari (not to mention the other high end USA mods) is by the time they're released usually only minor bugs are to be worked out (say usually because we all know what happened with the EQ). With the Chinese mods, the first versions are pretty much the beta versions, and the early adopters the beta testers. If things keep going the way they are, in a year from now, won't be surprised if at least 50% of vapers have a mod, with 50% of them using vv.
