I love my vmax, and the zmax sounds even better BUT.... and I hate to say this... I REFUSE to buy a zmax unless both the end cap, and extension end cap are both F L A T!

Yeah... yeah... Im making more out of it than I should cause the functionality of the unit is what matters.... but this one thing in my opinion is a design flaw that MUST be corrected. It annoys me to levels you just cant comprehend. So much ao that it messes with my enjoyable experience.

To that also, the unit tipping over cause of the rounded endcap on the vmax has twice now tipped over, rolled off the counter, and landed hard on the floor. It wedged the vivi nova on top askew and the threads on my vmax are now slightly wonky as a result. So i have to use extra care threading anything on/off of it.

I seriously hate the rounded end caps. I will not waste money on a zmax unless this gets fixed. I love ccv, and would only buy it from there but they wont get a dime of my cash if those caps are round.

For any questions about the Zmax on resistance the user manual is posted on the prior page. And a lot of other questions.

Should have all the prelim testing with the stacked 18350 setup done tonight. I gotta say I'm really diggin' this new button, almost sits flush with the body, protrudes out maybe 1-2mm and so firm with absolutely NO RATTLE or shake. The build quality on this unit is extremely nice and solid feeling.

I would easily pay $150 to even $175 for this level of quality in this type of cutting edge device.

Can't just lay it on it's side instead? Don't think I ever had the need to stand it upright. I guess you're using some kinda tank that leaks if laid down eh?

Hate to dissapoint you, you were vaping a lot lower than 7 volts on 2x 16340s, no matter what brand they were.
You can get 8.1-8.2 for a couple of seconds using 2x AW IMR 18490 in a Silver Bullet with two extension sleeves with an atty over 5 ohms, and SB delivers 0,14-0,16v more than the Cube underload.
Usually with 2x 16340 and 3 ohm load you get 7 volts underload.. the lower the resistance of the atty, the bigger the drop.

How on earth can you people vape with an LR on 6V ?? I use 2.8 Ohm in my vivi nova and can't go over 3,7V and even then still get a very burned taste sometimes.....

I think my Vmax V2 (ss, red display and "counting function") is playing tricks on me. Yes i have used a multimeter and although it isn't reliable for the vmax it seems to deliver as promised.

I like my tube and box mods to stand upright. Like a little forest of vaping trees and bushes. Something about putting my PVs down on the table on their sides displeases me. I don't know why, just personal preference.

Since my Ovale V8 has a curved bottom and rocks from side to side when stood upright, I put shim strips across the bottom with tape-backed felt to make it stable. Unfortunately, that trick won't work on the Vmax.

I found some 4" diameter cylindrical wire mesh containers of various heights at the Dollar Store that are designed to hold knick-knacks on a desk or table. Now all my PVs huddle together in those, and my Vmax can no longer fall over.

I guess no one read the post and link with the beautiful mahogany desk caddies made specifically for tube mods for a great sale price of $29 bucks.

Here it is again.

LINK : Desk Caddies & Accessories

You want the H2 or H3...The H1 is for box mods.
$29 bucks folks .... that's nothin' ....most spend more on a average weekly juice order. I spend $105 every 6months for a single 1000mL bottle of my all day vape and DIY the other 2 flavors a vape.

And Fuzzi even posted a pic of a slick lookin toothbrush steel lookin holder he had his VMAX's help up in. I'm sure that wasn't more than 5-10 bucks. I still don't quite get why it's such a matter of it must stand up but hey whatever floats your boat I'm not here to judge, but their are alternative methods.

Theres a big difference between a vivi nova and a carto tank...

The vivi nova starts starting burned at kinda low volts, a LR carto in a tank doesn't even at high volts (not sure why, I just know it doesn't)

Yup, $10...Walmart. It's pretty cool actually; made of bronze, VERY heavy (doesn't tip) and a dark cappuccino color. Felt bottom so you don't scratch furniture. Also great for test tube experiments and I hear it works pretty good for your toothbrushes also :)

Of course, I still tip over my vmaxes from time to time because I didn't buy one of these for every surface in my house, but that's another story.

Glad to hear your liking the VMAX. With the co-op you may want to wait a bit. Going with a 1st run device in a co-op with NO type of warranty is a very risky situation. Maybe wait till some feedback comes in on the 1st lot that comes in to the US just to protect yourself, your wallet, and your investment. Strictly my opinion tho.
