Opinions wanted on this DID knockoff ,I should have asked before I pre-ordered it. Here is link to Stormy's
SVC Storm Genesis RA Tank (PREORDER ONLY) - $39.99 : Stormys Vapor Cellar, Electronic Cigarettes & More
There are a few out there for review purposes (they are the size of the mini did) but they aren't in the general publics hands yet. I've ordered a real DID should have it this week, and I'm in a Co-op for the knockoffs in it for $20.02 for 2 of them looks like stormys vapor cellar has quite the mark-up on them.

I had quite a learning experience this morning, I pre-ordered a knock off mini DID so I thought I would get my mesh wick making skills up to snuff. I made a vertical mesh wick for my Smok VIVi tank but only wanted to use it for practice. Well the wick seemed real wet but vapor production was almost nonexistent, then I decided to plug factory air hole on platform with a tooth pick and put a small hole in tube next to wick. My god what an outstanding difference, it went from less than really poor to really good. Looks to be how this tank shall live out it's life.

I just placed a labor day special order and purchased me a ss vmax I now have some smokteck 1.5 dual coil cartomizers on hand will they work and give good vapor on the vmax??

The Max will run 1.5 ohm attys like a champ at around 4 volts...cartos is a diff story though. Like Martin said...gotta keep em topped off like mad and vape at the lowest voltage.

VV devices are not for low res atties my friend.

It will work but be really carefull to have a very wet carto and use the V at 3.0V

What would you recommend for this i would like to step up to a tank set up just worried about leaks and it not being durable as a carto? Sorry for all the questions in new to vaping

It's pretty hard to beat the Vivi Nova Tank Clearomizer for an all around good vaping experience for newbies or veterans. It comes with replaceable heads that can be recoiled if you should decide to go that route as you become more experienced. Also there are several support threads to help anyone who has any question on any point about them.

Do a Google on "ViVi Nova Tank Clearomizer" to find vendors and review on this unit. Phil Busardo has the best review I've seen that you may want to look at. A PBusardo Review - Vivi Nova 2.5 - YouTube
There are many vendors who sell the units so you can do some shopping to compare against $14.20 that LiteCigUsa charges for them delivered. Vision Vivi Nova Clearomizer Tank System

Edit: Did some more checking and found http://www.cloudsofvapor.com/store/...-vivi-nova-tank-system.html?keyword=vivi+nova has them for $12 delivered with promo code "bigbuyer". It doesn't list the version number so you may want to check with them to make sure it's a Ver2.

Well Errol, your post finally got me off my .... to finally open one of my Vivi's received over a month ago that I simply set aside for another day. I've been vaping my DID mostly. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. It's no DID but very nice vape for what it is and what it cost. I 'think' mine is a 2.5 with the short wicks. I'm not sure I want to spend much time tinkering with it as these efforts are mostly reserved for ...you guessed it...my DID, but right out of the box it's more than just fine. I can see now why people like them.
