Has it been confirmed that the V2 truly has an eGo threaded connection? I plan on getting a rebuildable but still have some T3 heads that I would like to burn up before then.

My SS Z-Max V2 does not have true eGo threading, just enough room for a Stardust or something like that with a 510 connection to fit down over the center.

I've hadn't heard that, but it'd be nice. Kanger's new clearos all have eGo threading instead of 510. I kinda like them myself. Makes the connection more stable. And now those clearos are the only reason I keep any eGo batts around.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

They don't have ego threads and you will need an adapter to use T3's with them. They still go down almost flush with the top. I am mainly using T3's with an adapter with mine and they look and work great.

Just ordered another V2 from electronic-cigz... coupon code still worked so I order the Max and 2 extended caps (one for the V2 I got from the coop)
This device is so spectacular, I needed to have another one!!
Can't wait for that VapeMail!!

Out of curiousity i checked the website just now @ 09:31am central time.
Price is now 124.95 - original price 119.95

Entered coupon to see if it still worked - coupon expired.

Did anyone else that got these recently get a very slight scratchy throat from enjoying it so much the first day ? :)

I have to admit that I use this device more than my ProVari! Oops did I say that? Maybye because it is new? Or because I switch flavors a bunch and keep my Cirrus tank on my ProVari because it looks cool? Ok I will admit it.. it is because Smok did something right for once. I use the test results to adjust my Zmax V1 and it performs well too. I am gonna trade my Zmax v1 to the place I bought it and get another v2 as soon as they get them in.

Wattage testing with a single 18650 and 2.5ohm single coil carto-

With RMS on-

3w- 2.77v, 1.1a, 2.5ohms= 3.06w
6w- 3.96v, 1.58a, 2.5ohms= 6.27w
9w- 4.79v, 1.91a, 2.5ohms= 9.17w
12w- 5.46v, 2.18a, 2.5ohms= 11.92w
15w- 6.09v, 2.43a, 2.5ohms= 14.83w

Without RMS on-

3w- 3.36v, 1.34a, 2.5ohms= 4.51w
6w- 4.29v, 1.71a, 2.5ohms= 7.36w
9w- 5.13v, 2.05a, 2.5ohms= 10.52w
12w- 5.89v, 2.35a, 2.5ohms= 13.87w
15w- 6.22v, 2.48a, 2.5ohms= 15.47w

The RMS function again makes it far more accurate than without, but again it's not too far off with the single 18650 (used a Callie's Kustoms 2250mah panasonic hybrid for this test just as with the prior). Up next are the numbers with 2 AW 18350's.

Thanks for posting this Morandir. I've linked it in a couple of posts for others. Much appreciated.

New mod out that employs the ZMAX V2 RMS electronics.

The review with plenty of numbers (they are identical to the ZMAX V2 RMS):

Akkuträger VAMO VV/VW (aka Telescopic VV XSTAR) » Mountain Prophet
( use the google translate feature in the left menu )

Manufacturer's site:

Vamo VV Mod - HOT Sale e-cigarettes - Product Catalog - Shenzhen RainbowHeaven Technology Co., Ltd--electronic cigarette, e-cigarette, electronic cigarette suppliers

It's called VAMO VV/VW and should be priced in the $40-$50 range I estimate..

Wow that looks like a good value but kinda ugly IMO lol. It will be a great budget conscious mod for prospective buyers

I kinda like the look of it, except the buttons. I think we're going to see a bunch of these sort of mods coming out. Performances will vary, no doubt. :smokie:
