Smoktek 6ml Tanks don't work on my Mini

I had some smoktek 6ml tanks I'd never used, tried them on my mini, using the same dual coil 1.5ohm tank cartos they came with only with 510 fitting. For some reason they don't work well, like it can't screw far enough down into the threading.

Anyone else had this problem? Do I need to use a different type of tank or carto with the Provari?

Maybe a 510 to 510 adapter? Yea, it wont look as good...

Get a paperclip and pull back on the center hole, so it comes out further, to get that connection.

My Smoktech tank and Smoktech prepunched DCT cartos were a nightmare for my Provari...codes, sporadic working, etc. If the issue is contact then I may have to try it again.

Yeah, I did think of that after I posted. It does seem the issue is the tank prevents the contact. I do have some KR808D tank cartos to use up, so I guess it'd make sense to try those with the adapter, but the 510-510 ought to do it too.

Pull your posts. It's resolved any atty/carto issues not working on certain devices for me. Worst comes to worst, get an adapter.

Pull the post and try again. I have the big Provari but these are the only tanks I have used and they seem to work well so far (knock on wood) but I have only used the smok tech prepunched cartos. Have you tried another carto? Maybe it's just that one. Good luck. Let us know how you come out.

Use the Smoketech cartos in tanks all the time on all my Provaris. No problems. Pull the post.

Too scared to pull posts at this stage - less than a week old.

I put in a KR808D carto + 510 adapter, now the 6ml tanks work just fine!

I have been using the smoketech DC cartos in their 6ml tank on my provari since they first came out. As much as I love the vape the combo gives me, the quality control on the cartos suck. Of each box of 50 I get I usually have 4 or 5 that give me error codes on my provari.. You would think they have been out long enough by now that smoketech would be fixing its glitches.
