Will do...hopefully I have my cartos and punch by wednesday next week. I really hope these last 3 smokteks I have left dont just decide to die on me over the weekend.

Once you are convinced that cartotanks are your main vape, you'll invest in a large supply. I have a 4 months supply just in case the zombie appocylipse happens, or if the FDA cuts me off, whichever comes first.

This is so odd. I have always had good luck with Smok cartos. I use them all day everyday and they last at least a couple weeks each using 3 at a time (one in a tank, 2 on eGos). I see all these people who have bad experiences, but in truth they are all I ever use. All I can say is I hope my luck never changes with them, because I like them a lot.

For me so far it seems about 50/50 right now. When they work they are amazing but after setting up a new carto for the tank filling with juice only to find its no good is amazingly frustrating. But the IKVs seem to have a great following on here. So I will try punching my own fusions and see how that works for me.
No, not yet. Waiting to see the reviews and longer-term customer satisfaction with them first. I'm not one to jump on the latest gadget to try. I like time-proven consistancy.

All my stuff has shipped so hopefully come monday or tuesday I can review the punch for you guys. Also in other news I have converted my roomie...he is now stalking the mailman for his Provari mini.

debating punching my own now...seeing as how IKV has the non punched in stock...but it seems all the punch tools will deform...is there one out there that doesn't just press a screw into the side and deform the carto?

The little "keyring" type punches will work just fine...if you remember a couple of things. Keep the threads on both the screw and the inside of the "nut" (the device with the hole you put the cartomizer in) clean with isopropyl alcohol. The next tip is to lightly coat the thread with Vaseline or something similar. Makes a world of difference! I never deform my cartomizers anymore, and I don't end up with holes that are too large. Two full twist max and it's just right!

I'm sure they work...but I'm looking for the provari of punches so to speak. Hope this bullet punch is what I'm after...looks much higher quality at least *crosses fingers*.

Ok I love this punch. Receiving it in the mail I can already tell this is a quality made piece as it was quite heavy for being so small. It clamps onto the carto great makes a perfect sized hole and I think the punch has a limit on travel so no worries about going too far. I have yet to try my new IKVs yet since I dont have a tank collection like some of you guys lol.

In other news my roomie has received his Provari and is vaping away.

Dude, ok. When I got my ProVari I started using tanks immediately. They not only serve a great purpose but they also look good. There are a couple of tricks I have learned. I use a couple of cartomater tanks from vaperfexion by the way. I use Boge SR and LR, depending on my juices.

1. Use the condom fill method, I waste very little juice this way. Fill the little silicone cap that comes on one of the ends (the smaller one works better) and fill it 1/3 of the way with juice. From the BOTTOM of the carto, slowly insert the carto into the condom. Then kinda push it in and out a couple of times. This saturates the poly fill completely with out any dry spots. You will want a paper towel or an old sock or something to wipe some of the juice off of the carto.

2. Make sure your carto's have large enough feeder holes.

3. For a 3.0 ohm carto I crank my ProVari up to like... 5.7-6.0 volts depending on the juice.

Since I've figured this stuff out I have never had a burnt taste and my cartos last at least 2 weeks before getting funky. They can take some getting used to, I had a lot of trial and error with carto's. This is not how every body does and this is not how you might like to do it. But this is what works best for me. Good luck, hope you find your sweet spot.
