I've been using the Boge SR cartos from Valley View Vapes and have only maybe gotten 2 - 3 duds in the last 4 or so months I've been ordering them.. I haven't had any real issues with them aside from the liquids I used that had sweetener in them.. Those would gunk up pretty fast giving the carto only about a 3 - 4 day lifespan.. My new choice in liquids have lasted about 2 weeks per carto which for me is a great amount of time and I'm quite happy :)

I second that. VvV also can prepunch & test each one which I think is pretty cool, albeit time consuming to say the least. What liquids are you now having great results with?

I'm vaping mostly HHV: Razzberry and Pirate's Booty.. I just got a bottle of Jiggy to try as well just waiting for it to steep LOL
I also have Peppermint Mouth Mosh from TV which lasts really well in a carto too :)

i received mine in the mail today and have noticed that it provides no window to know where you are punching...and the instructions provided are HORRID! have i missed something?
Yes the directions are quite horrible. But after experimenting with it...there really is no way that I see it possible to screw it up. The punch only goes so far so I have yet to ruin a carto. I just put the carto flush with the punch up to the flange on the carto. Punches in the exact same spot as my prepunched.
lol smartass...i am anticipating issues with a high vg ratio juice...will certainly try the prepunched at some point, though...
Haven't had any issues yet with my 70% Vg juices yet and I punched 2 holes.

Has anyone tried making the holes with a Dremel cut off disc?

I've done it in the past. Should you go with this method, be sure to sand any sharp or rough edges down around the slot. Any sharp edges or burrs are sure to cut the tiny o-rings in the end cap, resulting in the tank leaking liquid.

I also recommend a tank tool if you don't already own one, to protect the o-rings from the sharp top of the cartomizer.

ah, see i have no flangeseses...lol...going to have to experiment a bit, but its encouraging to hear that you've had no problems with 70% vg...

ok I can see how this might be an issue centering the carto if you dont have the flanged ones. With the flange I just slide it all the way in till it stops...punch the hole, rotate and repeat and I'm done. I actually haven't had any problems with 80% vg either...I dont have any juices with more than that to try.

just wanted to follow up on this. i punched my first carto with this tool yesterday with much success. i found turning it 1.75 times provides a nice size hole with little disfigurement. two holes are also serving my high vg juice well...cheers!

I tried using a carto punch when i first started using them and was less than impressed with the result. Every time i ended up with a deformed tube and wicking issues. So......I cut all my cartos with a junior hacksaw.
A 5mm long cut across the cartomiser, a (very) quick rub over with some fine grit wet&dry paper and good to go.
Works perfectly with my 50/50 juice and takes seconds to do.

I've been using the bullet punch with great success. I probably would have gone the dremel route but since I moved I have no idea where I packed it lol.
