Thanks! Now can you answer the question that I asked so we all might be more inclined to order from this great business?

If you are so experienced with them and clones can you just simply tell us who makes some of their clones? One? Any?

1. I do not work for them.
2. My order from them Will arrive today... (Less than 48 hours from order )
3. Call them Yourself and ask them. Stop being lazy.
I don't order for their shop, I haven't received my order yet.
How would I know?

This is a really dumb argument you two have going which is going to make me unsub from this thread. He has 60 mods. Did he say all of them were from here. He might have one from here, he might have had someone who got theirs from here. Does it mean he knows who the manufacturer of these mods are? Doesn't guarantee it. Did he say he got a SMPL clone from here? No.

Stop being lazy and find out for yourself. Even if he gives you assurances, at the end of the day it's still your decision. Do some research and make your own choices, don't base it off of someone elses. Besides, you have a whole lot of other choices on the internet if you're worried about this site not listing the manufacturer. A couple more bucks for YOUR own piece of mind is priceless in my books. :2c:

LOL. Wow. Why is everyone getting so worked up. I'm just messing around. I thought he started it with bragging about his 60 mods and saying that I have "zero experience". Thanks I never claimed to have any experience.

I never questioned your integrity either I was making a joke. Geez.

And stop being lazy? This is a forum right? I thought we were supposed to talk and help each other. Calm down guys. There's no argument here. Idk why the ninja got so defensive all of a sudden when after your clone experience speech I thought you were going to impart some wisdom to us. Sorry

Mind your manners boys! Or I'll have to go all Mom on ya!

As far as 88evape this will be my first purchase and it is out for delivery! I ordered 2 brass SMPL's and 2 attys on Wednesday February 25th around midnight or so. Granted it's not that far from us, across the mountain in Vista. I'm already impressed with shipping time, now when it gets here I will unbox everything and let everyone know the quality/manufacturer.

On a side note, I'm Bad Ninja's wife :)

My infinite stainless steel clone arrived today and I have to say in pretty happy with it from my initial impression. Threads are clean, button is a little stiff and crunchy but I suspect that will smooth out over time. One thing I'm not certain of is whether it is in fact a single milled tube or has a press fit then ground in top cap. Looking at the internal side shows a bit of a rough ground almost spiral pattern and what looks like could be a second piece. From the outside though it looks seem less. Overall weight and size are much amaller then I expected. Definitely seeing this one becoming a daily driver/beater. 35 bucks shipped, just shy of a week to get to the door. Not bad at all.

I got the cheapest copper smpl from focalecig today $12.22-$12.09 SMPL Style Mechanical Mod - Copper Problem is only some of my (clone) rdas will fit it; the rest are too wide to screw into the top. I have a Rogue on there now, and it's great, so I'm not going to send it back. Is this problem common to other clones of this mod, or is it just my bad luck?

My copper SMPL was a bit too snug with most of my RDAs when I first got it. At first only my DH would screw in smoothly, then I gently forced my doge v2 on it, then after a week or so most of my RDAs would work as well. To this day my plume veil 1.5 will not screw in, I haven't forced the issue though.

Thank you so much! I'll try very gently. Meanwhile, it's pretty perfect with the stuff that does fit it, so I'm happy, anyway :) With the Rogue, it's TINY.

EDIT: Would you happen to know if any of the Mutation x variations fit? I was thinking of ordering one.

My MX v3 was one of the first that did work well:

I was gonna unsub but was busy at work and kept getting notifications so I thought I'd catch up. tl;dr I lied.

My button was crunchy til yday it didn't fire. Took a while to take apart cuz I don't have a circlip plier but when I finally got it apart I realized the spring was too wide causing it to overlap in an awkward manner when being pressed which caused the button to get stuck and constantly fire. I managed to tighten the spring by twisting it together tighter and now my button is smooth and fires consistently. Ymmv

I actually took a Dremel to the ends of the c clip to make sure it didn't bind against the switch housing.

How does one take that clip off without deforming it?

Strength and I had a small enough Allen wrench to fit into one of the holes of the c clip. Pressed the other end down, pulled apart, lifted that high enough to fit over its housing and then wiggled the other side off and bam. Putting it back together is another story though lol.

I'd say leave it alone but I knew the switch switch was what was causing the misfires cuz I could tell it would get stuck and not release correctly.

Not sure on the manufacturer on the clones from 88evape, the quality is decent, not as nice as the ones from Angelcigs. I can live with it :) the button is a lil crunchy but I can fix it with a lil work. I sanded off the coating and polished it with mothers metal polish :)

I also got a copper little boy for my copper SMPL :)

Angelcigs still out of stock last I checked ::/. So what did the box look like? Is the button throw really short? I just ordered a hobo clone from 88, hope it's good!
