Good morning

No snow day yet....it's supposed to start around 6pm. They're predicting less snow and more freezing rain for us, with a total of 1/10th to 1/4th inch of ice and maybe some snow. Whatever we get will probably melt Tuesday afternooon, with more possible snow Tues night or wed. I'm guessing a late start tomorrow morning.

Looks like a good chance of an ice storm for Atlanta. Haze is likely to get it worse than i will

Those "around freezing" forecasts can change at a moment's notice. So...you never really know what will hit where. Although, they have gotten pretty good at prediction short notice stuff. Long term...I never trust em. Too many variables that change things by 1 degree.

I'd still stock up and make sure I had at least 2 or 3 days of any medicines, supplies, etc. and prep for a power outage. Ice is nasty on trees. Trees are nasty on power lines. (and roads). So are cars/trucks that slide off the road in into power poles.

Good morning snails!
