Those "around freezing" forecasts can change at a moment's notice. So...you never really know what will hit where. Although, they have gotten pretty good at prediction short notice stuff. Long term...I never trust em. Too many variables that change things by 1 degree.
I'd still stock up and make sure I had at least 2 or 3 days of any medicines, supplies, etc. and prep for a power outage. Ice is nasty on trees. Trees are nasty on power lines. (and roads). So are cars/trucks that slide off the road in into power poles.
