Oh wow, I missed a lot going on! That's what happens when you get preoccupied with so many things around the house and can't even say good morning to your internet friends.

So, good afternoon all........and probably most of you are gone for the day. Classy, I know you're still around!

I'm headed out the door again, so bbl!

Sun "bleaching"? Bacteria outside eating the tea stain? Oxygen release from the grass?

Would be an interesting experiment to try to isolate the variables....

EDIT: never mind, there were plenty of 'answers' later. ;)

My Grandmother used to set bed pillows outside in the grass to re-poof them after washing...she never put them in the dryer.

Sunshine For Stain Removal And Cleaning Your Home

Good morning :)

hiya, atty and classy! oops - and mad ;)

yup - this is what i found

STAIN REMOVER and WHITENER: SUNSHINE! Wash, or wet, the fabric and set onto green grass, in the sunshine. The chlorophyll in the grass works with the sun to brighten whites and remove many stains, safely. Depending upon how old and how bad the stain is, this may take several days. Wet the item several times per day. The moisture along with the grass and sunshine is the key to removing stains, especially on delicate items
