Well, it seems that Frosty (GF's snowman on front porch) has a broken wire or light in his left arm (the one holding up the snowflake). I'm supposed to go over there and fix it. ;) Going to be almost impossible as taking the lights out of the arm is not an option, and replacing the wires is not really practical while they are in-place. It's one of those "wiggle the wires and see what happens" kind of fixes, because anything more will require a re-wire.

She said "Bring your multimeter"... last time. But last time, it worked. So there was nothing to fix because I couldn't re-create the problem. Now, it went off again. Sigh. Hate intermittent problems that can't be tracked. "Get a new Frosty" is not an option.

She's due to call in about 20 minutes so we can schedule it.

Update on the Frosty Crisis.
She's decided that, since his nose broke off when he blew over last year (or year before)...Frosty is a gonner after this year. Don't tell the kiddies of the world! ;)
So, I don't have to go fix Frosty...she giggled the wire is it's temp-working again. No sense in spending too much time at it. (I still offered though).

Hi Lost. :)

Bummer Kat. I always figured you were unmonitored, but wasn't sure. Now I know...

If the old one was a diff size, just move this one forward or backward to adjust. ;)

Unmonitored?

Can't get used to the wide screen. And it's very glossy, but I don't like matte screens as I read for a living, so I need a good sharp contrast...

Change is hard. :p
