Love Chili and Shepard's pie. I've gone out of my way to make both of those when I had a "hanker'n" for em.
Already started pasta going though.

Going to be a pasta casserole of some kind with leftovers for tomorrow.

Or, you can mix the ground beef with basil, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and form into meatballs or hamburgers and fry them just to brown on the outside and then toss them in a red sauce ...chile sauce, or whatever.

I copped out and just did an "Italian Style" pasta bake...that real Italians would probably not be impressed with.
Particularly since I used spaghetti instead of ziti or something.

P.S.

GF bailed out of work early. She had to make a stop anyway (car gas?). She picked up a 1/2 gal of milk and dropped it off, before the weather got bad. I'm set for a while. She can work from home for a bunch of stuff (and "runs" stuff...queries or whatever...from home every evening), so when there's a major storm sometimes the people calling the meetings let em bail and call in by phone, or rearrange the meeting.

Are you making your meatballs with pork, veal, and beef? Or are you using frozen meatballs bought at the store?

off to finish cooking dinner. I have a pork roast in the oven. having collard greens and sweet potato with it.
