I more or less just woke up, and decided not to go back to sleep.
At the time, one of the neighbors across the street was plowing his driveway, and there was a yellow flashing light in the window, and I looked out to see what it was (could be a county snow plow going by too) and check the snowfall and I guess all that activity caused me to ....stay awake and not roll back over.
So, just "stuff worked that way".
I more or less just woke up, and decided not to go back to sleep.

How much snow you got,Atty? Seems we just have the super cold here. 7 degrees this morning.
our temps have moderated, atty - just regular cold after that one outrageous night! i had all faucets dripping then and no mishaps occured, i think

IDK what the snowfall totals were by noon yesterday I think we got around 8 inches. Then some light snow after. This morning I'm not sure...too dark yet. 
The wind messes with stuff around the house, blowing snow off the roof and railings, so I can almost never tell without going out into the yard unless it was a low-wind snowfall.
