Well we are back down to 41 tomorrow.
It has been an unseasonably mild winter this year.

ECF jumped posts again...i saw Mad's post, responded and my response is now above his post. weirdness.
(let's do the time warp again....)
You were in New Mexico?Hehehehe... I was helping out in NM last night and quoted a post before it appeared. That was bizarre. A first for me.![]()

Yes. Most definitely...
Poor Lynch.
Poor coach Pete.
Of course, had they scored, that call would have been probably pronounced the greatest call in SB history.![]()
It totally went viral. Too bad. I think the message was important. It was lost in sarcasm and ....-hole-ness.
If more people paid some attention to that stuff, fewer kids would die. Not that I expect everyone to be perfect, but the message (from an insurance company) was a good message.
jkAs much as I agree with you on the merit, that ad was awful--it just wasn't appropriate for the Super Bowl. I cringed. There's time for public service announcements, but I don't think the SB is that place. Honestly--people eat, drink, cheer and just want to have fun.
2 yard pass? Nah. Would just have been "riskiest successful play" in history.

Or the gutsiest--or the most clever.
We'll never know...
As it stands, couch Pete will never live down that call.![]()
