Comcast won't (they say can't.. but it's really won't) change the IP address. May have something to do with possible merger plans....IDK.
And if it wasn't for stupid Windows 8 location settings (really lack thereof) I wouldn't need to worry. They say it will be fixed in Windows 10.

Okay we seriously went through two seasons today. It was Spring time when I left the house this morning and now it's winter again. Soooooo blustery out there.
I can "deal with them" both...I can take it. But I don't have to like it.
Seriously, it's more Win 8's fault...I should just be able to tell the computer "I'm located at _____". But the best it will do is what country you're in.
So, USA, yeah.
They a rumored to be fixing that in Win 10.
Geolocation by IP address (for devices without GPS support) hasn't been very accurate for a long time now. However, it has now affected ME so I'm more personally involved.
I just 'bugs' me. I check google news and I'd expect local news. And until a few days ago that's what I got. Now I get the east coast. Not a huge issue. I could fix it if I sign up for a Google Account with Big-Brother-Google, but they are just to "I"m the commodity" for my liking. When MS fixes it, they should pay attention to the new/better info. I hope.

Just got caught up on the Superbowl ads. Lindsay Lohan was definitely not as good as the Brian Cranston one, IMO. Brady Bunch one was kind of funny and the Chevy-4G was brilliant! I really liked the Dove "Like a Girl" ad too. None of them were as funny as this
